It seems like the vagueness is intentional, right?
Later on in the article, “ It’s good that the company is attempting nuanced moderation, but we should be wary of how this will play out.”
Facebook’s community standards are essentially saying they are operating under a system of “nuanced moderation.” Thus, I reject the idea that the standards are meaningless, rather the meaning of the standards is to allow Facebook freedom to moderate at their own discretion.
It’s a great point that Facebook’s moderation is something of which to be mindful going forward. However, you didn’t seem to offer a solution after criticizing Facebook’s policies and preparedness for controversial videos.
