6 figure income with 6 pack abs and 6 feet tall is not the top 20%. That is the top 1%. A 6 figure income in the US at age 30 is the top 10%, likely about a third of young US men would be considered fit, and only 15% of US men are 6 foot and over. While income, health, and height are not fully independent variables, that still leaves a very small percentage of men who check all three boxes.

Although as someone who was on dating apps in 2010/11 at the age of 29 who had an $80k income (2021 dollars), 15% body fat, and is 6'3" (but very little dating "game"), dating apps were almost effortless. And I was even going through a divorce at the time (something I admitted on my profiles).

So at least 10 years ago you didn't have to be anywhere near the three sixes to have success. I would put the minimum to have success closer to having a top 30% income ($60k at age 30), 5'10"-ish, and not overweight (under 20% body fat). That is likely around the top 10-15% of young men in the dating pool. (judging men only by these standards, not kindness or personality).

I think that is more of a reflection of how many men are very far away from the public perception of a "good catch." Then again, the public perception of what the top 20% of women are is also very skewed. Media would have us think they are all successful career women who could have been supermodels if they chose that career path. When once again that represents the top 1% in reality.
