Scrumming is a fast method of communication between group members that recaps recent events and defines what you’re going to do in the near future. Scrumming helps sets an agenda for the day, helps you find focus and keeps everything organized. The meeting should be quick because it forces people to shorten and summarize their information while still giving a good summary, there should be a time limit to enforce this.
You wouldn’t want to work in a group where you don’t know what your team is doing because that would be incredibly inefficient. A major conflict would be two people working on the same thing without the other knowing, you have wasted a days work and possibly the next day of work because you have to spend time fixing the problem.
