Great insight Darius. Whether we choose to or not, we’re constantly changing. This flux is unavoidable and I think change is critical. However, it becomes this negative meandering cycle you’re talking about when we focus on the end result of change, instead of the process. Focusing on process creates proper growth, while focusing on the end results often creates more frustration. I think we’re all best of off if we stop hoping for a completion of anything in life. Besides, once we make these changes in hopes of finding a solution to some internal problems, we typically discover that the change has brought on a whole new set of potential problems that we weren’t capable of seeing in the first place.
