Maybe Cush wanted to sit on the bench for a few years and learn from Elway. How many times have we seen a rookie QB’s confidence get obliterated simply because they’re forced to start right away?

Also, Ray throws a baseball at the end, not a football.

A major thing to question though, is the “human head weighs 8 pounds” exchange. In it, Jerry says, “Did you know that Troy Aikman, in only six years, has passed for 16,303 yards?” Are you kidding me? That’s a terrible passing yards total for that time span. Nothing against Aikman. That’s just how the Cowboys were built in the 1990s. They had a balanced offensive attack and a good defense, so Aikman didn’t need to be slinging it around for high yardage totals. Still, come on Jerry, you misplaced the “only.” Should’ve said, “Did you know that Troy Aikman, in six years, has passed for ONLY 16,303 yards?”
