I read a lot of fantasy, play fantasy themed video games, and enjoy dungeons and dragons, and there are often magical jewlery and gems.
In real life though, jewelry can sometimes have a seeming magic to. It can connect us to something, or more powerfully someone. They can be reminders of people, sometimes people who are gone. But as long as we have memories, people aren’t really entirely gone.
The people that change us for the better, as long as we hold onto how they made us better, as long as we remember who they were, the magic of that relationship lasts. It preserves within us as an echo.
