Our children attended different Christian Brothers schools and there is no “contract” that assures any child may attend from year to year. Both the young man and his parents KNEW the position of the Catholic Church in this matter and still tried to push the envelope. This is NOT discrimination … the rules and regulations are clear up front … this young man is simply trying to force an institution with moral principle to modify those principles because of him. Since the school doesn’t share his beliefs, he should be better off someplace else, but instead, he is trying to make the school “pay” for what HE did.
