Then in 2018, not long ago Zidane managed to make a Fantastic record, namely again bringing Real Madrid to win the Champions League three times in a row for three years. This is the best achievement that has never been achieved by any coach on the European continent.

Thanks to this success, it is very natural that the football public gives the title as the best coach in the world, and becomes the best coach owned by Real Madrid.

However, the world of football was again shocked by the decision given by Zidane on Thursday 31 May 2018 which said he was resigning from the position of manager of Real Madrid. This was done just five days after helping the club win the Champions League for the third time in a row.

The former France international said that ‘things have changed’.

“I love this club… the club needs to keep winning but it also needs a change, it needs a different voice, it needs another methodology. That’s why I took this decision,” Zidane said.
