Pairing designers across a couple or a few projects is a great idea. An additional benefit of the approach is that it allows concepts to be shared across projects. These ideas can be iterated at the same time. Different constraints, goals, and designers can quickly evolve an idea. An idea can jump from an isolated node to an important piece of a design system in a short amount of time.
