4 Better Ways to Advertise Your Class On Facebook (For FREE)

In the busy online world of 2016, simply sharing a post on Facebook tends to get lost in our ever-flowing newsfeed. In fact, Facebook tends to not rank regular text or photos posted on your own wall very highly. So how do we engage and approach our audiences, or potential students?
Lucky for you, we’re about to show you three interesting, engaging, and relevant ways to rank higher in Facebook newsfeeds. These methods are far better than even paying for ads on Facebook, and most importantly, they’re completely free!

1) Facebook Live Stream
One of the three best ways to build relationships, increase engagement, and ensure trust with your potential market is through Facebook Live Stream.
Using live video as part of your social media and marketing strategy allows your followers and students to get to know you in a deeper way and understand who you really are. This is one of the key elements of turning potential students into long-time fans, as it creates trust that assures students that your program is the best and that you know what you’re talking about.
Facebook Live is by nature an engaging type of media – if you allow it to be. One of the most important things I’ve noticed is that people who interact live with me often start appearing in the comments section of other Facebook posts and blog posts, and are eventually the ones engaging in classes, whether that means speaking up during Lably Live Classes or posting comments and reviews in the classes they’ve enrolled in.
2) Share within a specific Group

It may seem like a good idea, but breaking out your class on your own wall usually means that your content gets lost and diluted. You’re sharing irrelevant information to your grandparents and your high school friends who have no interest in the topic of your class.
Even worse, Facebook doesn’t like it. Their algorithms will rank posts based on relevancy, so unless it’s engaging for several of your friends and followers, your post will quickly flow down the newsfeed waterfall without seeing much daylight.
Relevancy is key here. Sharing within a specific group that relates to what you are teaching is a necessity. For example, if you’re teaching a class on shaping, you may want to share that within a Nail Tech group on Facebook.
3) Create A Lably Student Page

Just having a personal profile on Facebook won’t suffice. Instead, create a new group just for your online students.
By offering interactive features like videos, testimonials, forums, groups, pages, photos, and news feeds, Facebook enables you to connect with students online and make them aware of the value you bring – greatly expanding your teaching reach.
4) Stay Consistent
Doing all of the above won’t help you if it’s not done consistently.
Building trust is the way to go when it comes to advertising, and the way to build trust is to foster genuine relationships. If you’re not adding value to potential students’ lives on a regular basis, they will forget who you are and therefore not connect with your class.
Help out and give value at least daily if you want to make the most of all your hard work.
