You could also replace the term “hive mind” with “Cosmic Consciousness”. Perhaps this is what people are talking about when they speak of the akashic records too- we only need to evolve to a higherlevel of thinking- not just follow the hive mind to see we can connect with eachother & beyond. Elliot was almost having a “walk in” experience if you think about it that way ;) but I agree this movie has opened the door to how other beings could perceive us & interact with us someday. We could also choose to evolve over millions of years this way too. Perhaps it is not as efficent as a hive mind, but it sure is more interesting to think we can tap into something greater then our selves.
