I have a friend who works for a major US defense contractor. He has top secret clearance. He travels constantly to Norway, France, Japan, Korea, Israel, Iraq, India, Italy & to many Moslem countries. He is a native-born US citizen of Korean/Canadian/Scottish heritage. He was stopped & Customs or whomever wanted his passwords for his phone & computer. Those devices contain classified information & he could be fired & arrested for allowing anyone access to those devices. He had to call his company & they had to call someone to call someone to call someone. He was held there at the airport for 5 hrs & missed his connecting flight. Why is some low level customs agent demanding passwords from a US citizen who has employment credentials from a US Defense Contractor?
