The Ooogies
What is an Ooogy?
Ooogies are cross-platform companions that work 24/7 for 9Lives Arena players — even while you are offline or away from the game!
In a sense, an Ooogy is like a Tamagotchi on steroids.
At work, on the beach, or in bed? No problem! We’re creating a companion app for mobile devices that will allow you to get in touch with your Ooogy wherever you are.
Ooogies can gather resources, craft items, and even unlock skills and abilities for you by sacrificing unused items into a shrine. Like players, Ooogies can level up and become more powerful over time!
Note: You do not need to play 9Lives Arena competitively to use Ooogies. With the mobile device companion App, you can choose to level up your Ooogies to sell or use them to craft items to sell to competitive 9Lives Arena players on PC and consoles. What you do with your Ooogy is up to you!
Ooogy History
Ooogies are an ancient race from long before the times of Atlantis. While little is known about their origins, we have discovered some interesting information. Ooogies come in many different colors and a wide range of appearances. In addition to common genetic traits, there are nine royal bloodlines of Ooogies, each of which adds a so-called royal trait to their gene pool.
Ooogies Offered During the Kickstarter Campaign
During the Kickstarter, we will offer three types of Ooogies.
1. Random Ooogies
Like a classic Kinder Surprise egg, you never know which Ooogy you’ll get…
Random Ooogies offered during our Kickstarter campaign will be a mix of common and royal genes and will vary in appearance. The greater number of royal traits an Ooogy has, the rarer it will be.
There are currently more than 200 million possible genetic combinations for Ooogies.
Statistically speaking, in a group of one million Ooogies, only 2 would end up with all twelve royal traits combined with the mix of common traits. But even then, the odds that those 2 would look the same are near impossible.
Themed Ooogies
Themed Ooogies are limited to a certain amount. Their accessories and tattoos will never again be replicated.
Ooogy Kings
Each Ooogy King represents a pure, royal bloodline. The King Ooogies are extremely rare and each is unique— only twelve kings will ever exist. Each King wears a completely unique outfit but shares the same necklace and king tattoo.
Unlike other Ooogies, kings are named and come at max level! In case you decide to let your king work for you, they have great stats…:)
Backed Value
