From clawed skin to the lifetime of resilience and daring

Insightful, and a fascinating look into the lives of those who have made this journey. I once co-wrote a biography of a Polish immigrant, a ballet dancer. I had thought originally it would be a collection of fabulous stories, but as it came together I realized it was much more a portrait of the man and who he WAS as a person – not what he did for a living. Immigrants have so much to teach us, if only we would listen. Thank you for sharing this story.

A single golf clap? Or a long standing ovation?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
