Quick note: the commentary of gymnastics has been terrible. They will hoot and holler and rave about a routine, and then a score pops up with 1.5 in deductions and a little yellow box and we get no explanation. I appreciate the call-out of Tim Daggett who does an awful impression of Rowdy Gaines. Analysts exist to break down events for the viewers. If they aren’t able to do that, and thus far Nastia and Tim haven’t shown that they can, it’s just useless noise.
