Lootboxes
Hello, Unicorn fam!
The time to open Lootboxes of all shapes and sizes will eventually be upon us! We don’t have an exact date yet, but we’ll give you updates once we’ve pinned down the best date for it. Before being able to open Lootboxes, here are some things to keep in mind:
What are Lootboxes?
Lootboxes are 1155 Tokens that, when opened in-game, grant users starter items such as berries, seeds, crafting materials, boosters, keystones and possibly even UNIM and RBW. Lootboxes are launching with 6 different kinds: Common, Rare, Mythic, Land, RMP and Mystery. More Lootboxes will be added to the game over time.
How is each Lootbox Special?
Mythic Lootboxes: These are the Grand-Daddy of Lootboxes. They give both UNIM and RBW, as well as quite a lot of seeds, berries and crafting items. There is also a chance to get Tier 1–5 Boosters or a Keystone.
Rare Lootboxes: Better than Common Lootboxes, Rare Lootboxes give out more UNIM, as well as more seeds, berries and crafting items. There is also a chance to get Tier 1–4 Boosters.
Common Lootboxes: Common Lootboxes are the basic Lootboxes. They give a little UNIM, some seeds, some berries, and some crafting items. There is also a chance to get Tier 1–3 Boosters.
Land Lootboxes: Land Lootboxes specialize in helping you get things to help your Land. While they don’t give UNIM, they give out more seeds, berries and items than Rare Lootboxes. In addition, there is a small chance that they give a Keystone, making it the only Lootbox to have a chance to give a Keystone other than Mythic Lootboxes.
RMP Lootboxes: RMP Lootboxes give out a random bundle that you find in the RMP. Think of it like a box of goods falling off a truck headed to the Marketplace. Opening the RMP Lootbox will give you a random Bundle of either seeds, berries, crafting items, or boosters that are currently listed in the RMP.
Mystery Lootboxes: Mystery Lootboxes are very commonly given out, but also give out the least amount of rewards of all the Lootboxes so far. They give out a few seeds, berries, and crafting items, with a chance of giving out a little UNIM as well.
What are in the Lootboxes?
All Lootboxes will contain a mix of items and currencies. How much a Lootbox gives out is random, so opening the same Lootbox may give more or less of certain Items.
Lootboxes can give out UNIM, RBW, Seeds, Berries, Crafting Items, Boosters, and Keystones. Here are what the current Lootboxes will give out:
Lootbox Jackpots
When you open a Lootbox, there is a chance to receive a very special additional Jackpot reward. The chance is very small (0.02%, or 1 in 5000), and the jackpot rewards vary based on the Lootbox. Jackpot rewards are the greatest rewards you can get from Lootboxes. Here are the following potential jackpot rewards for each Lootbox:
Mythic Lootboxes:
0.02% chance to get 25,000 Berries
0.02% chance to get 2,500 Seeds
0.02% chance to get 50–1000 Crafting Items
0.02% chance to get 10x Tier 5 Boosters
0.02% chance to get 250,000 UNIM
0.02% chance to get 50,000 RBW
Rare Lootboxes:
0.02% chance to get 5,000 Berries
0.02% chance to get 500 Seeds
0.02% chance to get 10x Tier 4 Boosters
0.02% chance to get 50,000 UNIM
Common Lootboxes:
0.02% chance to get 1,000 Berries
0.02% chance to get 10,000 UNIM
Land Lootboxes:
0.02% chance to get 25,000 Berries
0.02% chance to get 2,500 Seeds
0.02% chance to get 50–1000 Crafting Items
RMP Lootboxes:
0.02% chance to get 10x Random Bundles from the RMP
Mystery Lootboxes:
0.02% chance to get 1,000 Berries
Keystone Drop Rarity
Mythic and Land lootboxes provide a 25% and 10% chance of a keystone, respectively. See the table below for keystone type rarities:
How do I get Lootboxes?
We distribute Lootboxes through the following means:
- Event Rewards
- Staking Program Rewards
- Community Event Rewards
- Potential Racing/Jousting Rewards
- And more!
Lootboxes can also be purchased from the secondary market on OpenSea.
How do I open my Lootboxes?
Before you can open a Lootbox, you must first claim it. Once a Lootbox is “claimed,” it is permanently in-game and cannot be sent back to the Wallet. Keep this in mind before deciding to claim a Lootbox!
Here are the steps for claiming once the feature has been enabled in-game:
- Go into your player inventory. Next to the land tab, there will be a Lootbox Tab.
- Click the Tab and you’ll see all the Lootboxes you have in your wallet.
3. Clicking on Claim will bring up a blockchain transaction prompt. Once the transaction is finished, the Lootbox will disappear from the Claim Tab and appear in the Open Tab.
- Lootboxes that are of the same type will stack. You can only claim one Lootbox of the same type at a time.
- Lootboxes that are of different types can be claimed simultaneously
- NOTE: Once a Lootbox is “claimed,” it is permanently in-game and cannot be sent back to the Wallet. So be careful before deciding to claim a Lootbox or not.
4. To open a claimed Lootbox, click on the Open tab to the left of the Claim tab.
5. You will get a “Lootbox Opened!” Pop-up showing the contents of your Lootbox. The Lootbox is deleted from the Inventory at this point, and the contents will be stored in your inventory. Enjoy your rewards!

You’re in luck! Our lovely partner Moonstream is currently working on a tool that will help those with a lot of Lootboxes speed up the process of claiming their Lootboxes. Stay tuned for more details!
More Lootboxes will be added to the game over time as more features are added to the game. Be on the lookout for new Lootboxes and enjoy opening the ones you have!

Edit 8/4/22 PST: We’ve updated the Lootbox item chances table to reflect the correct berry jackpot for Mythic & Land Lootboxes to 15k. The previous value was a typographical error and not possible with our current maximum inventory limit— thanks to the community for pointing it out!
We also added the Keystone Drop Rarity table so players can get an idea of the chances for each keystone type to drop.
