Season of Advancement Event 2023

Spring has sprung and flowers are in bloom. Hurry ‘corns, for there is much springing and flowering to be done this season!

Is this deeply rooted desire to “advance” the unicorn population to reign victorious in jousting and conquering shadowcorn quests… or is there something deeper, more sinister? Only time will tell.

Similar to the Fall Event of 2022, the Season of Advancement will reward points for breeding, hatching, and evolving unicorns with the purpose of “advancing” the unicorn population. It’s a Unicorn’s natural instinct, after all!

We’re taking things easy on this event — simpler mechanics will make it easy for the community to keep track of their points amidst the whirlwind of activities we’ve planned for you this Spring season! Just let your ‘corns do what they do best and they’ll take care of the rest.

After listening to the community, we want to emphasize that we are not changing our rewards mid-event for this event. The reward system has been laid down with greater transparency compared to previous events. We hope that the uni fam approves of this step forward!

Similar to past events, the Season of Advancement Event will have an overarching leaderboard that accumulates points earned by players throughout 3 monthly milestone events. After the event, we’ll send the rewards and request our players to fill up a survey.

Mechanics Overview

Players can earn points on the leaderboard by breeding, hatching, and evolving. At the end of the event, players will be sent rewards based on their ending rank on the leaderboard. Players also earn rewards for reaching a certain number of points for each milestone.

Event Timeline Overview

April: Stat Enhancement Milestone

• Timeline: April 1st, 2023 — April 30th, 2023
• Reward Distribution Date: 2nd-3rd week of May

May: Mythic Endeavor Milestone

• Timeline: May 1st, 2023 — May 31st, 2023
• Reward Distribution Date: 2nd-3rd week of June

June: Paragon Trials Milestone

• Timeline: June 1st, 2023 — June 30th, 2023
• Reward Distribution Date: 2nd-3rd week of July

All specific dates begin at 00:00 UTC and end at 23:59 UTC.

Rewards Overview

Spring Leaderboard rewards are exclusive to the top 1000 participants. Players can earn the following rewards from the Leaderboard:

• RBW
• Badges
• Unicorns
• Lootboxes
• Keystones
• Golden Tickets

Players also win Spring Lootboxes upon reaching certain points every milestone. For more details on the event reward system, check the Rewards section below.

Survey Overview

Players who rank among the top 1000 in the leaderboard will be given a chance to gain another Spring Lootbox by completing a survey that will be released after the event! Other players can participate in the survey, but they will not be awarded a Spring Lootbox.

Players can earn points on the leaderboard by performing Event Tasks. At the end of the event, players will be sent rewards based on their ending rank. See the Rewards section below for more information on the leaderboard rankings.

Each milestone also has specific points which, when reached, will award players with Spring Lootboxes. Upon completion, players will be awarded badges.

Event Tasks

The following tasks, when completed within the milestone,

• Evolve a Unicorn with a combined score of 1350 stats or higher (100 points)
• Hatch a Mythic (50 points per part)
• Evolve a Unicorn (25 points)
• Breed a Unicorn (10 points)

Note that Event Tasks and Event Points will stay consistent throughout the entire event.

Milestone Points

Players will be awarded Spring Lootboxes upon hitting the 70/150/250/500 point marks per each milestone. Upon completion of the milestone at 1000 points, they will receive more Spring Lootboxes and a Milestone Completion badge.

Milestone Rewards

Players will be awarded the following upon hitting the prerequisite points per Milestone:

• 70 pts –1 Spring Lootbox
• 150 pts–2 Spring Lootboxes
• 250 pts–3 Spring Lootboxes
• 500 pts–4 Spring Lootboxes
• 1000 pts–5 Spring Lootboxes, Milestone Completion Badge

Your feedback is essential for us to make events more enjoyable for players with each iteration. The Spring Lootbox

The Spring Lootboxes are designed to assist your Unicorns on their quest to create fun Spring memories during the Season of Advancement! This Lootbox evokes a playful vacation house chock-full of Boosters, & UNIM/RBW jackpots to increase the chances of a thoroughbred Jousting bloodline flourishing within your stables.

The Season of Advancement Event has 6 different exclusive badges.

Completion Badge: Stat Enhancement Milestone

Badge Boost: 0.05 (Common)

The spring generation of your herd grows strong and true! This badge can be obtained by reaching 1000 points or higher during the Stat Enhancement Milestone for April.

Completion Badge: Mythic Endeavor Milestone

Badge Boost: 0.05 (Common)

This is proof of your dedication to bringing back the sparkle to each coming Unicorn generation, one mythic part at a time! This badge can be obtained by reaching 1000 points or higher during the Mythic Endeavor Milestone for April.

Completion Badge: Paragon Trials Milestone

Badge Boost: 0.05 (Common)

Your Unicorn training methods are tried and tested, this much is sure! You could sire a Hero ‘corn from your elite, which might come in handy later… This badge can be obtained by reaching 1000 points or higher during the Stat Enhancement Milestone for April.

Leaderboard Badge: Tier I

Badge Boost: 0.05 (Common)

Days of rooting for your ‘corns have paid off! Your herd is healthy and evergreen as can be. This badge can be obtained by reaching rank 301–750 in the overall Spring Leaderboard.

Leaderboard Badge: Tier II

Badge Boost: 0.075 (Uncommon)

What’s the difference between a unicorn and a carrot? Your ‘corn is a funny beast. These carrots are a bunny feast! But not if your well-trained unicorns have anything to say about it… This badge can be obtained by reaching rank 101–300 in the overall Spring Leaderboard.

Leaderboard Badge: Tier III

Badge Boost: 0.125 (Rare)

Your ‘corns have outdone themselves! In true Spring fashion, your herd has bloomed and flourished, bringing unmatched vitality to the metaverse. This badge can be obtained by reaching rank 1–100 in the overall Spring Leaderboard.

Back to Basics

Due to several reasons, we’re keeping this event simple but synergistic. Because of Jousting and other upcoming events where high-stat Unicorns are preferred, it’s also the perfect time for an event that is focused on producing quality ‘corns!

More Fun Ahead!

We’ve taken feedback regarding the Winter Event seriously and hope to make future events more exciting and fun for everyone. In the meantime, a simple event is also ideal for the packed schedule the community will be experiencing as we unveil project after project. Stay tuned to Town Halls for more information!

Reward Transparency

As a part of improving our quarterly event experience, we are also focused on keeping all aspects of future events clear from the start. This is so players can make an informed decision on their level of participation and we can set unambiguous expectations for each event aspect.

Player Feedback

A reward system that we are introducing for this event is the post-event survey reward. Through this endeavor, we hope to gather information about the community’s sentiment toward the event. This helps us to improve upcoming events and listen to what the community truly desires. The top 1000 ranked players are incentivized as they are players who have interacted with the event the most.

What do players stand to gain from this event?

• For beginner players, this serves as an introduction to breeding and evolution. Earning Spring Lootboxes will introduce them to high-quality boosters which can be used to breed genetically improved ‘corns!
• Intermediate players will be incentivized to seek and apply information that will help them to produce higher-stat unicorns. The Leaderboard Rewards will further provide materials to continue the high-quality corn breeding operation. Receiving badges will give them a boost towards daily staking rewards, furthering their resources.
• Advanced players have yet another reason to further their glorious unicorn empire. Their Unicorns’ sparkly, high-stat progenies will duke it out at the Jousting arena and take the Preseason Tournament Cup with its glory and riches! Additionally, as all information has been laid out beforehand, players can carefully calculate their level of participation in this event to an extent that they find comfortable.

If a task begins during one milestone and ends during milestone another milestone, which milestone will it be counted towards?

• Tasks are considered within the milestone if the task’s final transaction is completed within the milestone period. In this case, it depends on what date and time the related transaction is completed.

My milestone points are not updated due to some last-minute evolutions. Will they still be counted?

• Yes, your points will still be included even if the leaderboard is not completely updated within 24 hours. If it has been more than 24 hours and your leaderboard is still not updated, send us a ticket.

How will the reward system work for players who are tied for the same rank?

• All players on the same rank will get the same rewards. The leaderboard will then push the next users down.

In case an outage happens and the transactions of my tasks do not go through, could it still be counted towards the event?

• Any issues that affect gameplay will not be cause for exceptions or changes to the event.
