This is more than a tour; it’s a transformative experience that blends physical challenge with profound cultural immersion.

Day 1: Arrival in Vibrant Marrakech

Your adventure begins in Marrakech, a city that epitomizes the enchanting chaos of Morocco. Upon arrival, you’ll be warmly welcomed and transferred to your accommodation, where you can unwind and soak in the city’s atmosphere. Spend your day wandering through the labyrinthine streets of Medina, where the scent of spices mingles with the vibrant sounds of street vendors. Visit the majestic Koutoubia Mosque, its minaret a defining feature of the city’s skyline, and lose yourself in the energetic ambience of Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, where storytellers, snake charmers, and food stalls create a sensory overload. Enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner, a perfect introduction to the culinary delights that await you on this journey.

Day 2: From Marrakech to the Atlas Mountains

We bid farewell to Marrakech and set off towards the Atlas Mountains, a region renowned for its dramatic landscapes and traditional Berber villages. The biking group begins their adventure with a 30–40 kilometre ride, navigating through rugged mountain trails that offer both challenges and stunning vistas. Simultaneously, the hiking group embarks on a trek through the picturesque Ourika Valley, a lush area dotted with terraced fields and traditional Berber homes. By evening, both groups converge at a charming mountain lodge, where we’ll share stories of our respective journeys over a hearty dinner, surrounded by the majestic peaks of the Atlas.

Day 3: Deep Exploration of the Atlas Mountains

Day three takes us deeper into the Atlas Mountains, offering a more intense adventure. The biking group tackles a 40–50 kilometre route through the renowned Toubkal National Park. This area is characterized by alpine meadows, crystal-clear streams, and challenging terrain that will test your biking skills and endurance. Meanwhile, the hiking group sets out on a 5-hour trek to the Tizi n’ Test Pass, a high-altitude route that rewards hikers with panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and valleys. After a day filled with exploration, we regroup at our lodge in the Berber village of Imlil, where a delicious meal awaits and the serene mountain environment provides the perfect backdrop for relaxation.

Day 4: Journey to the Sahara Desert

The transition from the lush Atlas Mountains to the arid Sahara Desert is a dramatic change in scenery. As we travel via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, the landscape shifts from green valleys to expansive desert dunes. The biking group embarks on a 30-kilometer ride through the undulating desert terrain, experiencing the unique challenge of cycling on sand and rocky paths. Concurrently, the hiking group explores the desert’s varied landscapes, trekking through oases and over dunes. Our destination is a luxurious desert camp where traditional Moroccan hospitality meets modern comfort. Enjoy a sumptuous dinner under a blanket of stars, a fitting end to a day of contrasting landscapes.

Day 5: Immersion in the Sahara Desert

Day five offers a deep dive into the heart of the Sahara Desert. The biking group sets out for a 50-kilometre ride across a landscape of sweeping dunes and rugged terrain, navigating the vast expanses that make the Sahara so iconic. The hiking group spends the day on a 4-hour trek, discovering the desert’s unique flora and fauna, and interacting with local desert communities. As the sun sets, we gather around a campfire to enjoy Berber music and cuisine, sharing stories of our day’s adventures and soaking in the desert’s serene beauty.

Day 6: Cultural Exploration and Desert Adventures

Our sixth day continues with a mix of biking and hiking, as well as immersive cultural activities. The biking group explores various desert landscapes, while the hiking group engages in cultural experiences, visiting local markets and interacting with artisans. This day provides a deeper understanding of the desert’s culture and way of life. Return to the desert camp for another night of comfort and hospitality, where you can relax and enjoy a traditional Moroccan meal amidst the tranquillity of the desert.
