Tekashi 6ix9ine was 'flaunting a $750,000 chain before robbery'

Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine was flaunting a $750,000 chain and between $15,000 and $20,000 in cash at a New York strip club before he was robbed, it has been reported.

You recall, the 22-year-old was kidnapped, pistol-whipped and robbed of jewelry early Sunday, according to reports. He was hospitalized with a black eye shortly afterward.

All this happened a matter of hours after Tekashi dropped “FEFE” his new musical collaboration with Nicki Minaj.

Tekashi 6ix9ine, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, had spent months bragging about how he was the ‘King of New York’ and ‘untouchable’ after numerous squabbles with other singers.

He was hanging out at an infamous Queens strip club before he got held up this weekend, according to police sources.

Cops believe someone spotted the rainbow-haired rapper and later followed him out. Sources told The Post he was wearing a $750,000 chain — which got swiped during the alleged stick-up, along with approximately $15–20K in cash.
The club where Tekashi 6ix9ine was hanging out is called CityScapes, and is located in Maspeth.
According to PageSix, he is now refusing to speak to police despite initially cooperating.

He had previously told cops he was filming a music video in Brooklyn, New York, and left the set around 4am on Sunday.

Then, at around 4.30am, he was sitting in the passenger side of a car when it was hit from behind, he said.

Tekashi told law enforcement two men with guns jumped out of the vehicle, stole the driver’s iPhone and put the rapper in the back of their car.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ that the men demanded jewelry and cash from Tekashi.

He then allegedly called someone inside — believed to be his daughter’s mother — and asked her to come down with his jewelry.

The men were allegedly given $750,000 in jewelry and between $15,000 and $20,000 in cash, reported TMZ.

The gunmen then drove away with Tekashi in the backseat. Sources told TMZ he managed to get one of the rear passenger doors open and escape from the car.

This is different from what TMZ originally reported, that he arrived home to find his driveway surrounded.

He allegedly was pistol-whipped and thrown into the backseat of a car by three masked gunmen.

Tekashi is then said to have flagged down a passing driver, getting into the passenger’s seat and begging them to call 911.

The controversial rapper was then taken to the hospital via ambulance.

The “Gummo” rapper later posted on Instagram along with a photo of fellow rapper XXXtentacion:
“As crazy as it sounds.. yesterday morning I had a feeling that it was my day to die. May GOD strike me dead if I’m lying.

Nothing materialistic is more important then LIFE. I live to see another DAY 🙏🏻 I get to see my daughter another day. No Hate Charge it to the streets.”
