I agree with much of what you say, Owen, and I know you to be a decent man with a track record of supporting working people. I applaud you for your ongoing work.

But on this issue I’d ask you two simple questions:

Is Labour is the party of working people?

Is membership of an imperfect EU/single market in the interest of working people?

If you believe these to be true, then Labour should campaign for this outcome.

Instead, believing that half his base are irredeemable racists too thick to think again now they can see the consequences of leaving the EU/single market, Corbyn chooses the worst of all outcomes.

Or, if you think leaving the single market is in the interests of working people, you need to explain why.
