My Journey to Creating a Self-Care Space

I used to think self-care was all about spa days and vacations. Then, I realized self-care is about what happens in the everyday moments, especially in our own homes. That’s when I decided to create a little nook in my house dedicated just to me and my well-being.

My self-care space started with just a corner in my living room. A comfy chair, a soft throw blanket, a few of my favorite books, and a small plant, that I can barely keep alive. It’s my go-to spot for morning coffee, evening reading, or just when I need a breather.

What’s important is that this space reflects what calms and rejuvenates you. Love painting? Set up an easel. Into yoga? Roll out a mat and keep your favorite scents around. It’s all about what makes you feel relaxed and happy.
