NPS philosophy on holistic education
Schooling in NPS encompasses more than the learning that takes place in the classrooms. Students are exposed to varied opportunities to develop new skills and experiences beyond the academic program. Art, craft, calligraphy, music, dance, sports, games, yoga, taekwondo are some of the avenues that students may explore their creativity in.
Our students are expected to make significant contributions to the community through the school’s outreach program. This is our commitment to creating sensitive and empathetic citizens.
Average school day schedule (entry, breaks, dispersal) — Kindergarten, Primary, Middle, Senior School
The school day commences at 8:10 a.m. every day with the morning assembly. A short snack-break is given between 10:00–10:15 a.m. followed by a staggered break for lunch and dispersal. The kindergartners leave school by 12 noon. Primary classes Grades I — V break for lunch from 12:00 noon to 12:35 p.m. Grades VI — XII have a lunch break from 12:35 p.m. — 1:05 p.m. Classes for primary, middle and senior school close at 2:50 p.m.
