Hip Hop Gives Back In Atlanta! Young Entrepreneurs of Atlanta Partners with Hip Hop Heavyweights To Cater To Inner City Youth

Project Press Release (presented by Young Entrepreneurs of Atlanta) looks to enhance school pride throughout select DeKalb county high schools while educating students on different dimensions of the music and entertainment industries.

Past speakers have included 2–17 on the track, Sonny Digital, Metro Boomin, Greg Street and several other industry professionals.

Students have been educated on entrepreneurial skills in music creation, engineering, marketing, branding, and management.

Select high school students have been chosen amongst their peers to create a three song compilation consisting of songs on texting and driving, being tobacco free, and a personal theme that will serve as a “press release” for the students and their school.

The showcase is Thursday, May 5th 4pm — 9pm at Exchange Park (2771 Columbia Dr. Atlanta, Ga 30034).

“Partner with us as we realize dreams, one young entrepreneur at a time.”

Industry Affiliations: Cyhi Da Prynce, Zip K, Scotty Atl, Translee, and Lalaa Shepard.

This will be an engaging night where students will be judged on their ability to produce tracks, create an intriguing business plan to promote their compilation, and their overall performance during their final show.

The winning team will win free studio time, customized apparel, and the opportunity for their school’s uniform to be re-developed by fashion extraordinaire Tim Lewis and a select G.O.O.D Music recording artist for the upcoming school year.
