Trump taps retired colonel for Secretary of Defense
Since his appointment to office earlier this month, President-elect Donald Trump has been diligently working on filling some still vacant positions in his presidential cabinet. His announcements have been met with criticism by the media and the general public due to racially-charged controversies and lack of formal political experience surrounding some of the candidates. But late last night Mr. Trump made a surprise announcement which he is confident will win over the hearts of Americans across the nation.
News broke out today that Donald has reached out personally to retired Colonel Hans Landa and offered him the keys to the Secretary of Defense office. “His military background and accomplishments, as well as his personal values make him thee best candidate for this position. That I can assure you because I am a very smart person” said Mr. Trump in a recent interview at his New York apartment with alt-right publication White Nation Aficionado Magazine.

Steve Bannon, Donald Trump’s Chief of Strategy, has praised the decision calling it “A bingo” and that “it was the white, I mean right, thing to do”. While there’s no word yet as to Mr. Landa’s response, the president-elect has zero doubt that he will accept the position and help ease the public’s fears that Donald Trump is filling his cabinet with unqualified or controversial candidates.
