The two-door sports car was initially released as a response to the Z cars in the 70s. However, 1987 was the most important year for Supra since the first turbocharged model was launched. It significantly enhanced the performance and was a big step forward. The following generations got even more powerful engines, but unfortunately, the production was halted in 2002. Toyota made a good decision when they decided to introduce the new generation, and the 2018 Toyota Supra will be a member of the new redesigned generation.
