Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 213 Recap And Review

Recap:

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 213 confirms the long foreshadowed fate of Megumi Fushiguro with Ryomen Sukuna finally taking over his body while revealing the reason behind his interest in Megumi for so long.

Sukuna had sensed that Megumi would make an excellent vessel due to his 10 shadows cursed technique's potential and his body's tolerance to withstand him. He patiently waited until Megumi's soul was completely shattered before taking over his body to avoid Megumi from being able to control him (like Yuji did).

Now in control of Megumi's body, Sukuna swiftly deals a lethal blow to Yuji who goes flying through a building and crashes barely looking alive.

He then summons a gigantic version of Nue using Megumi's cursed technique to deal with Maki & Fumihiko.

Meanwhile, Angel has regained consciousness and identifies Sukuna as the disgraced one who must be removed and eliminated from Megumi's body immediately to avoid Sukuna gaining a stronger hold over him.

Despite Hana’s fears of hurting Megumi, Angel unleash a technique called Jacobs ladder & attempts to separate Sukuna from Megumi.

The technique seems to have dealt some damage to Sukuna while Hana screams to let him go and that Megumi belongs to her.

Megumi then exclaims that he remembers now, thanks Hana & assures her that he's fine. He then holds out his arms to her. Angel warns her to stop but a weeping Hana embraces Megumi while stating "when it came to you, I've always" but before she can finish, Sukuna reveals a menacing look on his face while holding her, seemingly ready to crush her.

This chapter gives us a few revelations & leaves us with a lot more questions like...
How bad was the blow dealt to Yuji?
Will Hana make it out alive?
Has Megumi lost complete control over his body to Sukuna?
& many more.

By the looks of it now, Angel's cursed technique had little to no effect on Sukuna. But one thing is for sure, by taking over Megumi's body, Sukuna has been able to amplify his 10 shadows cursed technique as evidenced by the sheer size of the summoned Nue.

With this, the upcoming chapters are definitely something to look out for if we're ever gonna get any answers.
