When we say “freelancer”, the image of a young man working 2–3 hours a day by the sea appears. The world community has developed a stable image that people who are engaged in freelancing, earn easy money with no effort. Definitely, freelancers would like it to be true. However, almost every freelancer faces serious problems in the course of his work. It’s about them that we’ll talk.

It is worth noting that, depending on experience, scope of work and country of residence, a freelancer may not face a particular problem. However, this does not mean that the entire community is deprived of it.

1) How to find customers? This is one of the main problems of a beginner freelancer. There are many different sites, local and international, but the competition there is too great. There is always someone who is ready to do the job faster and cheaper.

2) The problem of trust, perhaps, worries no less the entire community of freelancers. As a rule, if the relationship between the customer and the performer is not backed by legal obligations, then there is a chance that the client simply will not pay for the work.

3) Legality of work. For most countries, freelancers are like a bone in the throat, because their activities are not taxed (we emphasize: this practice does not exist in all countries). Accordingly, violations of work relations in such cases are not even considered.

4) It’s hard to start freelancing. At a minimum, for this you need to have certain skills, which will be demand, the ability to find a client and build relationships with him. Unlike constant work in the office, freelancing is an equation with many unknowns.

With the coming of the blockchain, the sphere of freelancing can seriously change. The problem of reputation, trust and even payment can be solved! The question is, which system will be offered to freelancers.
