Eternal Progression, Degrees of Glory, and the Resurrection: A Comparative Cosmology
Introduction
This article seeks to present a new and comprehensive cosmology as seen from an LDS viewpoint, but using the best of non-LDS sources for greater understanding. Cosmology is defined as “the study of the origin, evolution, and eventual fate of the universe”, but in religious terms it is more properly an understanding of how man, god and religion fit into the origin, purpose and destiny of the human soul within the universe. LDS people call this “Eternal Progression” within The Plan of Salvation. Joseph Smith’s view of eternal progression added a lot to the existing cosmology of Catholicism and Medieval Christianity, but the many works cited in this paper add immensely to the general LDS view, and clear up some misunderstandings which have crept in.

Outline of Concepts
1. Our Solar System has an orbit within our galaxy much like our planet orbits our sun. This orbit brings us through many varying energy densities which essentially control the progression or evolution of our planet and its inhabitants. The progression of mankind and people individually cannot be fully understood outside of the context of of physical cosmology–because they are synchronous.
2. The fractal (micro/macrocosm) or law of relative relationships is the key to understanding ourselves, our earth/ solar system, galaxy and the universe. The majority of ancient and esoteric cosmologies seek to use symbols to typify the fractal patterns of our galaxy–patterns existing in the respective levels of; the atom, the human body, the planet (body), the solar (body) and the galaxy. The patterns are often summarized in the religious use of the numbers 1,2,3,7, & 12 and their corresponding shapes (sacred geometry). The religious use of these numbers & symbols loosely summarizes very complicated concepts of physics which govern the major divisions of our earth & galaxy. Thier use also serves as a pattern or outline to understanding cosmology.

Mankind is ignorant. But with help we are getting smarter
The advocacy group “Survival International” suggests that as of the year 2010, there are at least 100 uncontacted indigenous tribal peoples living world-wide. The pictures below were taken by airplane in 2010 of a tribe living near the Peruvian / Brazilian border which officials in the civilized world have known about and monitored since at least 1910. Groups such as Survival International fight for these group’s right of self-determination and try to uphold policy enforcing no-fly zones and no travel zones which leave the groups in peace until they purposefully seek contact with the outside world for themselves. It is obvious from pictures such as these and other encounters that these tribes are frightened and negatively affected by encounters from the outside world. It is a bit amazing to think that there are dozens of these isolated unevolved groups living in the midst of such a connected, advanced, technological world.
The implications of this on the idea that man is alone in the universe should be obvious. Are we really so egotistical, naive, or ignorant that we would think we are the only advanced life in the galaxy? Does anyone really believe there are not sophisticated civilizations which exist in the heavens, watching over, protecting, and studying us on our evolutionary journey of self determination and progression? Isn’t it probable that advanced life in our galaxy looks at earth’s inhabitants with the same pity, compassion and respect for self determination, as our technologically advanced world looks on these aboriginal tribal groups?
In the following article I will attempt to show that most of the world’s religious and scientific advancement is the result of inspiration passed to man from advanced extra-dimensional groups in the heavens. These groups carefully and subtly have worked within our superstitions and religious traditions to telepathically pass information which might help us individually and as a planet to one day join the galactic community–without frightening us or violating our right to self-determination. Such information might seem a bit crazy… but then again you might think about what the aboriginal people in the above pictures thought when they tried to tell their friends about their unbelievable encounter with a low-flying helicopter.
Law of witnesses
LDS people like to talk about the law of witnesses spoken of in 2 Cor. 13:1 which says that “in the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established”. I believe this common-sense concept applies to all truths revealed to man by higher dimensional groups. The highly organized, and strictly governed groups in the heavens, which religion’s typically associate with “God”, subtly reveal truths through multiple witnesses to each respective class of people on earth according to their ability to receive it. So not only have heavenly truths been shown to multiple witnesses within Israel or the earth’s major religions but those heavenly truths are also revealed through multiple separate secular witnesses and thus on to the world at large. In Mormonism we call the religious witnesses, prophets, seers or revelators; in the secular world we call them scientists. The generally accepted term in most of Western society for a religious witness is a “clairvoyant”, “channel” or “mystic“. But I think it’s very important for people of all religions to realize that higher beings do not just reveal religious or secular truth through your religion or your accepted channels. (see the article, What is Truth) As I have combed the world’s revealed texts for cosmological information, I have found a handful of works which have been especially helpful in piecing together a cohesive view which expands and makes sense of the piecemeal and often ambiguous descriptions of cosmology found in LDS scripture.
Most Mormon’s see Joseph Smith (1805 to 1844) as the ultimate modern witness to heavenly beings, and the only true modern revelator of religious cosmology. However, this article will seek to prove that there are many more modern cosmological witnesses outside of Mormonism than in it. For instance, John Ballou Newbrough’s work (1828–1891) claimed to receive a book of scripture from light-beings which is larger than Joseph’s Book of Mormon & D&C and contains far more detailed cosmological information. He was followed by another in the seer and mystic John Sebastian Ward (1885–1949) whose channeled works on the Spirit World correspond closely to Joseph Smith’s revelation of heaven found in D&C 76. Yet an earlier forerunner was Emanuel Swedenborg (1688–1772) whose exhaustive works likely influenced Joseph’s theology. There are many more skilled adepts and scientists in each major division of the world who were parts of the inspired religious reformation movements, religious great awakenings and industrial/technological revolutions.
In the last few decades it seems most modern individuals producing ‘revealed’ works have considered themselves part of the “new age movement”. One quite modern example was Don Elkins, whose strangely original works pioneered much of new age cosmology and like Newbrough, did a fantastic job of harmonizing the worldviews of ancient eastern and western prophetic or mystic works. All of these individuals taught controversial cosmological concepts which are in many cases validated by modern consensus oriented scientific inquiry. All of these prophet/seers (called mystics in modern terms), claim to have been taught by light-beings or angels (or Jesus), seen heaven and channeled large literary works. Works which give strikingly similar accounts of eternal progression, the constitution of heaven and a new theology — greatly advancing the prevailing ideas taught in Catholicism and medieval Christianity. Each of these individuals work’s mirrored larger cultural changes in social and industrial thought and development. By piecing together the evidence given by all their accounts, I’ll attempt to construct picture of the afterlife which seems to harmonize the views of many major earthly religions with each other as well as with scientific findings. And I believe that future consensus oriented scientific inquiry will eventually iron out the misconceptions and distortions of the world’s religious views and bring the world into a general unity of belief and understanding.

Identifying misunderstanding
Like most large religious sects, the LDS church is typically a little narrow minded as to what revelations or prophets it accepts or believes. Because of this, LDS theology has not advanced much past the cosmological ideas of Joseph Smith and the early nineteenth century. In teaching our view of cosmology, LDS missionaries commonly use the above diagram, which although accurate in a simplistic sense– ends up distorting the available picture of revealed Christian cosmology. It suggests that the degrees of glory seen in D&C 76 are different spheres or planets of sorts, completely separate from earth or the spirit world to which men pass after corporeal resurrection. A careful reading of Joseph Smith’s revelations, in comparison to other given revelations shows this is not quite the case (we will cover this misunderstanding in detail much later). They also suggest nothing of the earth’s future status as a “terrestrial kingdom” during the millennium, or the earth’s future status as a “celestial kingdom” (LDS Terms to be described later). The illustration also perpetuates distorted views concerning the ‘Spirit World’ being a two-divisioned, disembodied realm where the majority of people on earth wait for an extended period of time until the “resurrection”, which will occur at the beginning and end of the millennium (which again is a gross oversimplification.) I have attempted to create some diagrams of my own to better show the complexity of Christian cosmology. However, I have been met with frustration realizing that they will also inevitably introduce confusion and misunderstanding in people’s minds. It is simply too difficult to properly depict the complexity of the dimensional divisions in pictures so I will try to draw on as many examples in physics as possible. Hopefully they will help people get at least one step closer to the complete picture of reality as described by the many witnesses, but all should realize that if your view of the afterlife is based on 2 dimensional illustrations or just one or two revelations, it is likely highly distorted and incomplete!
Cosmology
The first step to understanding “eternal progression” is to have at least a general understanding of the earth’s progression or orbit within the galaxy. Since this progression somewhat follows that of the earth’s evolution, an understanding of cosmology gives a framework for us to better understand earth’s origins and destiny. Many LDS scriptures, show this is often the first step taken by higher beings in educating mystics/prophets, and was among the first concepts shown to Moses (Moses 1:4,33–38), Abraham (Abr 3:2–21), Enoch (Moses 7), the Brother of Jared (Ether 3:25) and others. Joseph Smith purports to have introduced a very basic version of this cosmology in the Pearl of Great Price (see facsimile 2). In his channeled works (footnote: it is important to note that Joseph’s works were channeled, not translated), Joseph Smith suggests that there is a physical and spiritual hierarchical order to the universe where stars/planets gravitationally and energetically rule over the evolution of other stars/planets and the higher dimensional rulers of those systems rule over the inhabitants of the governed bodies as well. Abraham states that he,
2 …saw the stars, that they were very great, and that one of them was nearest unto the throne of God; and there were many great ones which were near unto it;
3 And the Lord said unto me: These are the governing ones; and the name of the great one is Kolob, because it is near unto me, for I am the Lord thy God: I have set this one to govern all those which belong to the same order as that upon which thou standest.
In the notes written by Joseph Smith for the hypocephalus (facsimile 2) we get more detail stating that “Kolob, signifying the first creation, nearest to the celestial, or the residence of God.” Is “first in government, the last pertaining the the measurement of time”. Abraham is further taught that Kolob has a binary or sister sphere of sorts called Oliblish by the Egyptians that “stands next to Kolob”, being “the next grand governing creation near the celestial or the place where God resides. …which is equal with Kolob in its revolution and in its measuring of time”. The account suggests these bodies are either governing masses in the center of our Milky Way galaxy, or a binary system composing one of the “twelve fixed stars” described below. The power and gravitational influence of these bodies is then traced down through two more “stars” called Kli-flos-is-es, or Hah-ko-kau-beam which then pass their power onto Kae-e-vanrash which in turn “governs fifteen other fixed planets or stars, [including]… the Moon, the Earth and the Sun in their annual revolutions.” In Joseph Smith’s personal notes to the hypocephalus and “Alphabet of the Egyptian Language”, he goes into a bit more detail naming the “twelve fixed stars” (of which Kolob belongs) and “fifteen moving planets”, as well as giving what seems to be a slightly different explanation of some of the aforementioned spheres…
“Oliblish, Enish-go-on-dosh, and Kaii-ven-rash, are the three grand central powers that govern all the other creations, which have been sought out by the most aged of all the fathers, since the beginning of the creation, by means of the Urim and Thummim: The names of the other twelve of the fixed stars are: Kolob, Limdi, Zip, Vusel, Venisti, Waine, Wayoh-ox-oan, oansli, Shible, Shineflis, flis, os. The Egyptian names of the fifteen moving planets are: Oanisis, Flosisis, floese, Abbesels, Eleash, Subble, Slundlo, Carroam, Crashmakraw, obblesisim, Izinsbah, missel.

Comparing this to what we currently know of our Galaxy, its not easily understood what Joseph Smith was getting at (or if this is a feasible astronomical model at all). But although this cosmological model may at first seem a bit far-fetched, it in fact has more witnesses to its general validity in both John Newbrough’s work and in Hindu and eastern cosmology. Newbrough wrote of a cohesive and highly illustrated cosmology consisting of our solar system orbiting through our Milky Way galaxy in a circuit, in his book Oahspe, A Sacred History of the Higher and Lower Heavens on the Earth.
1. First, the earth plieth in a circuit around the sun, which circuit is divided into four arcs called spring, summer, autumn and winter.
2. Second, the sun, with his family, plieth in a large circuit [around the center of the galaxy], which is divided into one thousand five hundred arcs, the distance of which for each arc is about three thousand years or one [harvest] cycle.
3. During a cycle, the earth and her heavens fall in the spiritual regions of hundreds of etherean worlds, where dwell Jehovah’s high-raised angels, whose Chiefs have to do with the management of worlds.
4. During the time of a cycle, the earth is therefore under the control and management of such of Jehovah’s angels for the resurrection of man of the earth. (Oahspe 9/1.1)
Like Joseph Smith’s work, Newbrough’s work suggests that as our Solar System orbits the Galactic core, we pass by higher dimensional “etherean” worlds or “governing” systems which are inhabited by higher dimensional beings who subtly govern the inhabitants of world who pass within their domains. Newbrough’s works contain hundreds of pages which detail the histories, philosophies and tactics of these extra-dimensional beings. And the picture they paint is surprisingly similar to Joseph Smith’s and many ancient religious myths which integrate religion into the movement of our solar system’s as it orbits around the milky-way galaxy. Just as a single rotation around the sun can be separated into 4 seasons, 12 months, 52 weeks and 365 days; so also did the ancients try to give names to the corresponding orbital periods of the solar system moving in the Galaxy. An example is given below
1. And thou [speaking to an officer of the current governing “god” of earth] shalt dwell in thy kingdom seven years and sixty days, and the time shall be called the first dawn of dan, and the next succeeding shall be called the second dawn of dan, and so on, as long as the earth bringeth forth.
2. And the time from one dawn of dan to another shall be called one dan’ha; and four dan’ha shall be called one square, because this is the sum of one density, which is twelve thousand of the earth’s years. And twelve squares shall be called one cube, which is the first dividend of the third space, in which there is no variation in the vortex of the earth. And four cubes shall be called one sum, because the magnitude thereof embraceth one equal of the Great Serpent. (Oahspe 07/2.6)
The Zodiac, Precession of the Equinoxes & their Effect on Earth
Both Newbrough’s and Smith’s works suggest that in ancient times, higher beings came to earth and taught men a general understanding of astronomy & astrophysics and their relationship to galactic rule. The idea of a “great celestial serpent” is found in many ancient cultures and generally seems to describe the Galactic Orbit of our Solar System following a sinusoidal or possibly helical pattern as it dips above and below the galactic equatorial plane. These motions relate to Earth’s precession of the equinoxes as well as the precession or axial wobbling of our sun. (The sun wobbles and travels in a slight helical pattern because of the gravitational effects of Jupiter and the other large planets; seen from the side this orbital path would look like a stretched spring or partially coiled flying serpent.) What makes Oahspe, the Law of One and Joseph Smith’s mystic works unique is the picture they paint of how these well understood astronomical phenomena affects the earth and its inhabitants. Their works agree, first in suggesting that just as the earth experience’s periodic “conjunctions” with other larger planets in its orbit around the sun, our solar system also experiences conjunctions with far larger star clusters as it orbits the galactic core. These star clusters not only subtly affect our solar system gravitationally and electromagnetically, they also rule us spiritually as they contain “gods”, archangels or unified planetary consciousnesses who “have to do with the management of worlds” (Oahspe 9/1.3). This gives a bit more insight to Joseph Smiths hypocephalus where “god”, who is associated with a celestial body (throne) is said to rule earth from/by the fixed star known in a certain Egyptian dialect transliterated as ‘Kolob’. This idea of course, is not limited to Mormonism, Star Wars and other science fiction but exists in some form in the astrology of many ancient cultures. The following is another excerpt from Oahspe which gives a more detailed account of earth’s galactic orbit and how it relates to “heavenly” government.
04/7.2. And Jehovah caused the earth, and the family of the sun to travel in an orbit, the circuit of which requires of them four million seven hundred thousand years. And He placed in the line of the orbit, at distances of [approximately] three thousand years, etherean [celestial] lights, at which places, as the earth passes through, angels from the second heaven come into its corporeal presence. As ambassadors they come, in companies of hundreds, thousands, and tens of thousands, and these are called the etherean [celestial] hosts of the Most High.
04/7.3. They come not as single individuals; nor do they come for a single individual mortal.
04/7.4. And Jehovah gave this sign to man on earth; which is to say: In the beginning of the light of dan’ha, the spirits of the newly dead shall have power to take upon themselves the semblance of corporeal bodies, and appear and talk face to face with mortals. Every three thousand years Jehovah gave this sign on earth, so that those, who learned the powers and capacities of such familiar spirits, could bear testimony regarding the origin of man on earth. || Jehovah said: And when it shall come to pass in any of the times of dan’ha that these signs manifest, man shall know that the hosts of the Most High come soon after. Let him who will become wise, enumerate the great lights of My serpent, for in such times I set aside things that are old, and establish My chosen anew. ||
04/7.5. In the time of the earth, when man was brought forth from mortal to immortal life, the earth passed beyond se’mu [interstellar organic debris]. The angels of heaven remained with corporeal man, but not in the semblance of mortals, but as spirits; and by virtue of their presence, strove to make man wise and upright before Jehovah. Upon the earth the number of such angels was millions. To these angels Jehovah spoke:
04/7.6. Behold the work you have taken in hand! It was commanded to you all, to partake of all the fruits of the earth except of the fruit of the tree of life, which is of the knowledge of the earth and heaven, lest you lose your inheritance in etherea.
04/7.7. Behold, you now have sons and daughters on the earth; by your love to them you have become bound spirits of the lower heaven. Until you redeem them in wisdom and power even to the sixth generation, you shall not rise again and inherit My emancipated heavens.
04/7.8. To which end you shall be co workers with one another in system and order. In My name you shall become an organic body and known as the heaven of the earth, or lower heaven, which shall travel with the earth.
04/7.9. And I will allot to you a Chief, who is wise in experience in founding heavenly kingdoms; and he shall appoint from among you, officers, messengers, ashars, asaphs, and es’enaurs [angel leadership positions], and you shall be numbered and apportioned to your labor and places, like in My other lower heavens on other worlds.
04/7.10. He who is Chief shall be called God of this heaven and the earth, which are now bestowed to his making.
04/7.11. And God shall have a Council and throne within his heavenly city; and the place shall be called Hored, because it is the first kingdom of God in this firmament.
04/7.12. And God shall rule on his throne, for it is his; and his Council shall rule with him; in My name they shall have dominion over angels and mortals belonging to the earth.
04/7.13. And God shall appoint Chiefs under him who shall go down and dwell on the earth with mortals; and the labor of these Chiefs shall be with mortals for their resurrection. And these Chiefs shall be called Lords, for they are Gods of land, which is the lowest rank of My commissioned Gods.
04/7.14. And God and his Lords shall have dominion from two hundred years to a thousand or more years; but never more than three thousand years [a Dan]. According to the regions of dan (light) into which I bring the earth, so shall the terms be for the office of My Gods and My Lords.
04/7.15. And God and his Lords shall raise up officers to be their successors; these officers shall be appointed and crowned in My name by God and his Lords.
04/7.16. At the termination of the dominion of My God and his Lords, they shall in these, My bound heavens, gather together all those angels who have been prepared in wisdom and strength for resurrection to My etherean [celestial] kingdoms. And these angels shall be called Brides and Bridegrooms to Jehovah, for they are Mine and in My service.
04/7.17. And in the time of dan I will send down ships from etherea to God, his Lords and the Brides and Bridegrooms; by My etherean [celestial] Gods and Goddesses, these ships shall descend to these heavens to receive God, his Lords and the Brides and Bridegrooms, and carry them up to the exalted regions I have prepared for them.
04/7.18. All those who ascend shall be called a Harvest to Me, through My God and Lords. And the time of My Harvests shall be according to each dan, which is two hundred years, four hundred years, six hundred years, and five hundred years; and these shall be called My lesser cycles, because they are the times of the tables of prophecy which I give to My servants.
04/7.19. But at no other times, nor in any other way, shall My Harvests ascend to My emancipated worlds in etherea. For each and every dan’ha I have created seven dans, and to each dan given six generations of mortals.
Oaspe as well as other channeled texts also detail the spacecraft and dimension shifting technology which these higher beings use in covertly guiding and governing the affairs of earth. The Law of One, a more modern cosmological work channeled by Don Elkin, goes into great detail to explain the rules of non-intervention these beings are bound by, in order to preserve man’s rights to self-determination. These texts also explain the way in which communication and travel between the various dimensions is bound by laws of physics relating to the earth’s 11 year solar cycle and the position of our solar system within its Galactic orbit.

Additionally, Oahspe and the Law of One suggest that as the earth travels through differing energetic densities of the galaxy, it affects the consciousness and intelligence of mankind in general. This concept linking energy or light in the galaxy with intelligence and consciousness is also taught in Mormonism in the Doctrine and Covenants.
7 Which truth shineth. This is the light of Christ. As also he is in the sun, and the light of the sun, and the power thereof by which it was made….
11 And the light which shineth, which giveth you light, is through him who enlighteneth your eyes, which is the same light that quickeneth your understandings;
12 Which light proceedeth forth from the presence of God to fill the immensity of space —
13 The light which is in all things, which giveth life to all things, which is the law by which all things are governed, even the power of God who sitteth upon his throne, who is in the bosom of eternity, who is in the midst of all things. (D&C 88:11–13)
Oahspe and the Law of One go into far more detail on the specifics of how the intensity of cosmic energy affects human consciousness and behavior. It suggests that most ages of enlightenment as well as ages of apostasy and intellectual darkness are caused by the amount of intergalactic energy reaching our solar system.
38/7.6. The prophets of old divided time into cycles of three thousand years, with slight variations. And they found that at the beginning of these periods of time, a certain impulse came upon the people, causing them to try to be better and wiser — even as the same feeling is manifesting itself this day in many nations.
38/7.7. The scale then rises for four hundred years, more or less; and, after that, wars and epidemics come upon the people. They then begin to decline, especially in virtue and peace, but the general intelligence suffers little for about another six or seven hundred years. After which time, they destroy their libraries and records, and reduce themselves to ignorance and vice. Then a darkness follows of one thousand or more years, with slight intermissions. And after that, for six hundred years the corporeal senses [intellect] begin to ascend. Self conceit comes upon them; they think they are the beginning of wisdom on earth. Then comes another cycle of light. Angels descend from the unseen worlds. New revelations crop up in every quarter. Inspiration comes upon mortals, and they go to the opposite extreme, becoming superstitious and obedient to unseen influences.
38/7.8. Such, then, is the general character and behavior of man during a cycle (dan’ha cycle). And he rises and falls in all these particulars as regularly as the tides of the ocean.
38/7.9. These revelations are chiefly made so that man can begin to comprehend these things, and learn to classify them so as to rise in wisdom and virtue, and thus overcome these epidemic seasons of cycles.
38/7.10. As previously shown, there are positive and negative forces continually going to and escaping from the earth. Without these no creature could live on the earth. The negative imparts to man his corporeal growth, as well as his corporeal desires, passions, and so on.
38/7.11. According to the quantity and quality of the corpor solutions in the firmament and their precipitations to the earth, so will man be affected and inclined to manifest. These influences are easily discernible by some persons. As one is depressed by a dull day; another inclined to drunkenness and fighting. A bright day inspires man with energy… (Oahspe 38/7.6–11, Cosmogony)

The following illustrations visually depict the theorized “arcs” or regions of reinforcing or cancelling galactic energy patterns described in the preceding verses.
Much of the Christian idea of “harvest” (Rev 14:15) comes from this same concept of Galactic “Times & Seasons”. Suggesting that higher beings in our galaxy seek to help people on earth progress in the same way that a gardener tends his garden. There are cosmically induced “winters” where the earth travels through un-energetic or thick nebulous regions of galactic dust which inhibit earth from receiving much of the higher wavelengths of energy on the electromagnetic spectrum (God’s spirit in religious terms), which mankind’s body and spirit rely on for intelligence and connectivity with each other and the rest of creation. These beings plant the “seeds” of civilization in the autumn (such as Moses to Christ), clear the weeds during winter (such as the dark ages), pour down inspiration during spring (such as the renaissance to present) and gather the fruit during summer (coming millennium). The higher off-planet beings who aid the earth transmit most orally communicated information first to the upper realms of earth’s spirit world where it filters down through multiple realms of that dimension before passing on to our dimension in the material world (see D&C 76:86–88).
18/6.21. Is a summer on the earth not half a time? And the winter half a time? And the two, one full time? So also I created for atmospherea [the spirit dimension] a dan (cycle) of four hundred years, and a half time of two hundred years. And in seven times and one half time I created one dan’ha.
18/6.22. For thousands of years I sent My Gods to teach these things, so that My angels could know the times of My resurrections. Does a farmer not have knowledge of the resurrection of spring, when I cover the earth over with new growing things, which I raise up out of the earth? How much more knowledge should My angels have of My spring times, in atmospherea [earth’s spirit world], when My archangels come to gather in My harvests of emancipated souls?
There are several other cosmic influence dictated by our position in the galaxy, explained in Oahspe’s cosmology which we dont have time to cover in this article. These include the 11 year solar cycle affecting the ability to travel and communicate through space. There are many activities which can occur only with the collapse of the sun’s magnetic field during solar max (get refs). These cycles as well as regions of nebula and gas clouds also affect man’s ability in the spirit world to raise or be resurrected between realms or kingdoms (refs). The realms or kingdoms of the spirit world are also raised or lowered depending on these galactic conditions (get refs).
[Add a few paragraphs here showing how the highly fragmented hindu, buddhist and mayan cosmological belief systems and calendars each sought to literally or figuratively describe the “arcs” or discs of the solar system’s orbit through the galaxy. Name specifically a few of the most popular. End with a chart showing how they fit with Christian Harvest cycles, Mormon cosmology ideas and how Oahspe contains the most detailed and believable framework for tying them all together with modern scientific/astronomical observations.]
Part 2
The fractal or law of relative relationships is a vital key in understanding religious cosmology.
A fractal is a mathematical construct or set that typically displays self-similar patterns or a pattern that is exactly the same at every scale. This is why it is also called the Law of relative relationships, or a system which shows the same relationships at every scale. Plato elaborated on this observed phenomena and coined the words microcosm and macrocosm. A tree is a great example of a fractal pattern, in how the veins on a leaf look like a twig which looks like a branch which looks like a bigger branch and so forth. The idea of a fractal is expressed within animal life in the Bible as God tells each thing to reproduce (and evolve?) “after their kind”, but it is obvious that this system of relative relationships exists to some degree everywhere in the cosmos. An atom with its sub-atomic particles and electron cloud is loosely like a Sun with its planets and Oort cloud, which is like a galaxy with its associated matter and energy clouds, which is like a super cluster, etc, etc.. Many ancient and modern mystics have used this idea to suggest that a man with his endocrine system and energy centers is a microcosm or fractal of the solar system, galaxy and other levels of the cosmic pattern. LDS Scripture alludes to universal fractal pattern in its ubiquitous symbology and even directly in D&C 52:14. By studying the fractal patterns in directly observable things like human physiology and our earth/solar system, religious systems have sought to explain and understand the cosmology of the universe as a whole.
This pursuit proves both fruitful and confusing. Confusion has abounded as mystics and scripture often employ the use of symbolism, shadows, types and dualism in an attempt to refer to multiple levels of the fractal pattern. A mystic may speak of the “3rd heaven”, but readers may become confused not knowing whether they are speaking of an unseen heaven that is part of the earth, or a visible heaven that exists somewhere in the galaxy or both. In fact because most of humanity’s understanding of astronomy has been so rudimentary through the millennia, the meanings of most scriptural words concerning heaven or the cosmos have become completely lost or distorted. Concepts like heaven, celestial, resurrection, translation, and the like, are very confusing and very poorly understood because so few understand the various levels of the fractal patterns they could be referring to. By understanding that the levels and realms of the earth’s spirit world exist as a microcosm or fractal of the galactic levels and realms, we can much better understand scriptural symbolism and allegory.
Another reason that a scientific understanding of a fractal is important is in how it helps us understand the way intelligent life evolves or progresses in our galaxy. Evolution is galactically guided and only random within very constrained bounds. All mineral, animal and intelligent life in our galaxy follows the fractal pattern which was embedded into the fabric of our galaxy at the beginning of its creation. Knowing that we are a part of the galactic fractal helps us to understand that the things which have and are occurring on our world, follow a pattern of things also occurring on other worlds in our galaxy. To understand the pattern and how it is embedded in all life as we know it, is to realize that we are not alone in this galaxy. That which happens here, is the same as what has been done on other worlds. It is almost ridiculous to see the patterns in our world and galaxy, realize they exist in a fractal relationship and then suppose that there is not a preponderance of inhabited world in our galaxy which are either evolutionarily ahead of or lagging behind our earth.
In relation to understanding cosmology, religion and ourselves, the most important fractal is that which I define as the toroidal field generating unit. In relation to us this unit includes; the atom, the human body, the planetary body, the sun (solar body) and the galaxy. Each of these fractal levels contain the full set of relationships needed to understand the full pattern of cosmology and intelligent life in our galaxy. As we will explore in a moment, each contains the spiritual & physical dichotomy, the geometric relationships, and the quantized divisions of matter and energy to help us understand ourselves, higher beings, heaven & earth, life after death, and evolution of consciousness.

The biggest examples are the chakra divisions of the body, and the “spirit bodies” of hindu and new age teachings. Or perhaps put it down with the spirit world since it is a fractal of that?].
Some Divisions are relative, often arbitrary and change over time.
If you’ve ever studied the different calendar systems of the modern or ancient world, you know that the divisions we attach to time and space are somewhat arbitrary. Time on earth is based on earth’s position in space (specifically the Solar System). And since there are many different repeating cycles in our orbit, each culture tries to divide the times into divisions which make the most sense for them at the time. For example, some cultures used 12 month calendars and others used 13 months. Some used 365 day calendars and others 260 day calendars. The same is true for pretty much all classifications; some physicist say there are 3 states of matter, and others say 4. Some say there are 7 continents and others 5 or 6.
These concepts underlie the truth of relativity in the universe. Truly at some level ALL things in the universe are relative. Time, space and distance are all relative to each other. If one changes, the others change. This relativity is one of the things that makes a description of cosmology or the afterlife so difficult. According to Oahspe and other sources, the cosmological divisions of the Spirit World or Resurrection are not only a bit arbitrary (changing depending on who is describing them), but they are also relative and change with time as the earth makes its way around the galaxy. So because of the differing energy densities in the galaxy, what would be described as a 3rd density or telestial glory at one point in time, might become the 4rth density or terrestrial glory at another point. So when discussing heavenly divisions we must ask ourselves what time or space are we speaking relative to? In the LDS Doctrine and Covenants we see that the saints began thinking about the consequences of cosmic relativity and time-frames given in scripture.
4 In answer to the question — Is not the reckoning of God’s time, angel’s time, prophet’s time, and man’s time, according to the planet on which they reside?
5 I answer, Yes. But there are no angels who minister to this earth but those who do belong or have belonged to it. (D&C 130:4–5)
Oahspe speaks of how although the above statement may be true, there are issues with relativity because the Spirit World where most revelation comes from has a different time-frame than the earth.
20/18.8. Let man compute My times for his own benefit; I created the first wark [energy shell of the earth equating to a realm in the Spirit World] to gain in rotation faster than the earth, one year for every eleven. So that when the wark has made twelve of its own years, the earth shall have completed eleven years.
Oahspe explains that not only do these regions have differing time-frames, they also expand and collapse depending on the energy density of the region of the galaxy the earth is travelling through. So just as the earth’s magnetic field expands and deflates depending on the intensity of the solar wind (see animation below), the earth’s spirit world or spirit dimension expands and deflates with the galactic wind. We can compare the relativity involved in classifying the realms of the spirit world to the way we classify the rainbow of light created when shining light through a prism. Depending on the concave/convex nature of the prism, we might classify the color spectrum as simply three primary colors (RGB), or possibly four or the usual seven; it is all relative and a bit arbitrary. However, if we remember that each division exists as a small fractal of a greater whole, we can create descriptive divisions which better describe the cosmos because they are true types and shadows applicable to multiple levels of the fractal whole. This is what great religious mystics and scientists have sought to do since ancient times.
Sacred Geometry
Ancient art, scripture and mythology has a strong tradition of using certain numbers & shapes in their symbolism. These revealed symbols were an attempt of higher beings to loosely summarize very complicated concepts explaining the physics which governs the major divisions of our galaxy. Some of the most fundamental and popular of these are the circle, triangle, star & dodecahedron equating to the numbers 1,2,3,7 and 12. The Hindu traditions possess many more, but all are keys in unraveling the multidimensionality of our galaxy. Modern physics is beginning to see in detail how these numbers and shapes relate to the fractal relationships we have been discussing. Specifically these shapes relate to the configuration of electromagnetic fields such as the electron energy shell configurations. This is pertinent in our discussion because it will show how modern scientific classifications in electron orbitals accords with and vindicates ancient mystical descriptions of the afterlife, as well as being the key to aid humanity in agreeing upon a global classification which will harmonize religious and scientific cosmology.
A Googling of sacred geometry can lead a student to many great articles and exegesis on this subject; here I will offer a very brief outline:
The number one is a non-dimensional point. It is symbolized by the circle and is zero dimensionality in which all space-time is unified. It is the ground state of an orbital shell. Two is a line formed by connecting two points. It symbolized the most basic duality and polarity in the universe. It represents space with a measurable dimension of distance. Three is the tetrahedron of which the triangle is the two dimensional representation and is formed by adding a third point and three lines connecting them. It is space with time. Seven is two combined triangles or the double tetrahedron of which the Star of David is a two dimensional representation. …. Twelve is an isotropic vector matrix… which is related to the dodecahedron. Check out cosmometry.net for an example of these unique relationships and the “fractal holographic nature of the universe”. [add a little more information/outline of how these numbers/shapes relate to electron orbital shells).
Many, many books have and could be written on the association of these numbers, shapes and their relationship to religious revelations concerning God, the multi-dimensional structure of the galaxy and our progression through it. But to try and be succinct I will quote from Chapter 9 of the Aquarian Gospel of Jesus Christ which speaks of these numbers and their relationship to God, Taoism, Hebrew religion and later Hindu/Buddhist religion. We will then use these as a launch pad for our description of cosmology and man’s eternal progression.
14 Then let us study God, the One, the Three, the Seven.
15 Before the worlds were formed all things were One; just Spirit, Universal Breath.
16 And Spirit breathed, and that which was not manifest became the Fire and Thought of heaven, the Father-God, the Mother-God.
17 And when the Fire and Thought of heaven in union breathed, their son, their only son, was born. This son is Love whom men have called the Christ.
18 Men call the Thought of heaven the Holy Breath.
19 And when the Triune God breathed forth, lo, seven Spirits stood before the throne. These are the Elohim, creative spirits of the universe.
20 And these are they who said, Let us make man; and in their image man was made.
21 In early ages of the world the dwellers in the farther East said, Tao is the name of Universal Breath; and in the ancient books we read,
22 No manifesting form has Tao Great, and yet he made and keeps the heavens and earth.
23 No passion has our Tao Great, and yet he causes sun and moon and all the stars to rise and set.
24 No name has Tao Great, and yet he makes all things to grow; he brings in season both the seed time and the harvest time.
25 And Tao Great was One; the One became the Two; the Two became the Three, the Three evolved the Seven, which filled the universe with manifests [forms].
26 And Tao Great gives unto all, the evil and the good, the rain, the dew, the sunshine and the flowers; from his rich stores he feeds them all.
27 And in the same old book we read of man: He has a spirit knit to Tao Great; a soul which lives within the seven Breaths [Spirits] of Tao Great; a body of desires that springs up from the soil of flesh.
28 Now spirit loves the pure, the good, the true; the body of desires extols the selfish self; the soul becomes the battle ground between the two.
29 And blessed is the man whose spirit is triumphant and whose lower self is purified; whose soul is cleansed, becoming fit to be the council chamber of the manifests of Tao Great.

Harmonizing Theology, Epistemology and Cosmology
Building on the sacred geometries and numerologies in all religion; this passage and many others in restorationism texts, show us that the mystical aspects of all religion are actually seeking to explain through symbolism the same cosmology that modern science has been trying to figure out since its advent. It is all about answering the questions of creation and first cause . How did creation and intelligence originate, and what steps led from its plausible beginning to its (and our) current state. What parts of the universe are eternal and what parts are cyclical with a beginning and end. Did all of mankind originate from a single progenitor, and what is the nature of that progenitor? If intelligence in the universe multiplies, did it all originate from a singular intelligence? What is the nature of that singularity and how did the process of fall/division or separation occur? If energy/matter can neither be created nor made, but only re-ordered, is the same true for intelligence/consciousness and what does say about the wholeness of creation. Much like the scripture quoted above, The Kolbrin contains a creation drama which bridges the gap between religious theology/creationism and the science of cosmology; and can serve as a launch point for showing the harmony between theology, epistemology and cosmology.
1:3 Before the beginning, there was only one consciousness, that of The Eternal One whose nature cannot be expressed in words. It was The One Sole Spirit, The Self Generator, which cannot diminish, The Unknown, Unknowable One brooding solitary in profound pregnant silence.
1:4 The name which is uttered cannot be that of this Great Being who, remaining nameless, is the beginning and the end, beyond time, beyond the reach of mortals, and we in our simplicity call it God.
1:5 He who preceded all existed alone in His strange abode of uncreated light, which remains ever unextinguishable, and no understandable eye can ever behold it. The pulsating draughts of the eternal life light in His keeping were not yet loosed. He knew Himself alone; He was uncontrasted, unable to manifest in nothingness, for all within His Being was unexpressed potential.
1:6 The Great Circles of Eternity were yet to be spun out, to be thrown forth as the endless ages of existence in substance. They were to begin with God and return to Him completed in infinite variety and expression.
1:7 Earth was not yet in existence; there were no winds with the sky above them; high mountains were not raised, nor was the great river in its place. All was formless, without movement, calm, silent, void and dark. No name had been named, and no destinies fore-shadowed.
1:8 Eternal rest is intolerable, and unmanifested potential is frustration. Into the solitude of timelessness came Divine Loneliness, and from this arose the desire to create, that He might know and express Himself, and this generated the Love of God. He took thought and brought into being within Himself the Universal Womb of Creation containing the everlasting essence of slumbering spirit.
1:9 The essence was quickened by a ripple from the mind of God, and a creative thought was projected. This generated power, which produced light, and this formed a substance like unto a mist of invisible dust. It divided into two forms of energy through being impregnated with The Spirit of God and, quickening the chaos of the void within the Universal Womb, became spun out into whirlpools of substance. From this activity, as sparks from a fire, came an infinite variety of spirit minds, each having creative powers within itself.
1:10 The activating word was spoken; its echoes vibrate still, and there was a stirring movement, which caused instability. A command was given, and this became the Everlasting Law. Henceforth, activity was controlled in harmonious rhythm, and the initial inertia was overcome. The Law divided the materialising chaos from God and then established the boundaries of the Eternal Spheres.
1:11 Time no longer slept on the bosom of God, for now there was change, where before all had been unchanging, and change is time. Now within the Universal Womb was heat, substance and life, and encompassing it was the Word, which is the Law.
1:12 The command was given, “Let the smallest of things form the greatest and that which lives but a flash form everlastingness.” Thus the universe came into being as a condensation of God’s thought, and as it did so, it obscured Him from all enclosed within His solidifying creation. Henceforth, God was hidden, for He has always remained dimly reflected in His creation. He became veiled from all that came forth from Him. Creation does not explain itself; under the Law, it cannot do so; its secrets have to be unravelled by the created.
So in summary, ONE symbolizes the infinite primordial Most High God. Because time and division exist, we know that at some point a duality must have arisen in the supreme unity which we call God. The One became TWO; a polarity of positive and negative, masculine and feminine, light and dark, day and night, a beginning and an end. The Father & Spirit or Seen and unseen dimensions of the universe (corporal world & spirit world). Those Two further separated into the THREE; as the two bore a Divine SON. Like light shining through a prism, the One, shining through the duality created the trinity of primary colors. Red, Yellow & Blue. The Godhead of Father, Mother/Spirit and Son. The three divisions of corporal worlds and spirit worlds. As polarity and division continued the three further divided into a rainbow of SEVEN, which is the full fractal spectrum of our Galaxy’s rainbow. The seven energy levels in atoms. The seven energy densities of the universe. The seven archangels, the seven creative periods… the Seven Elohim.

GO INTO DETAIL OF HOW THIS IS HOW evolution and progression work within each fractal level. The one becomes the two, which becomes the three which evolves the seven, which can morph into twelve. GIVE EXAMPLES OF CONCEPTUAL SHAPES FIRST. THEN AN ATOM. THEN THE HUMAN EGG AND ENDOCRINE SYSTEM. THEN THE EARTH/GALAXY WHICH IS THE KEY TO THE FOLLOWING DISCUSSION. A CREATION IS FORMED, A SPIRIT WORLD SPLITS (each of those two dimensions split into two as well), THOSE TWO DIMENSIONS FORM A THIRD CHILD WHICH HAS NEUTRAL POLARITY (both of those two dimensions form three divisions as well, spirit world gets three division, so does earth, which makes six except that the unity of the whole is still counted making seven). AT THE SAME TIME THOSE THREE SLOWLY EVOLVE INTO SEVEN DIVISIONS THEMSELVES. (seven continents and peoples, seven divisions of the spirit world). EACH OF THESE DIVISIONS REPRESENTS THE CREATION OF ANOTHER PLANE AS WELL. THE SEVEN CAN BE SEEN AS TWELVE

God: The One Unified Field
Einstein spent the last twenty or so years of his life searching for equations to define what he called the unified field theory. In the same way that Maxwell’s equations reconciled electricity and magnetism into simply two different relative divisions of the same electromagnetic force, Einstein and many physicist since have sought a set of equations which could reconcile all known forces, energy and matter into simply different manifestations of the same unified field pervading the entire universe. To the ancients, this unified principle (often called the aether) was the power of God, and conceptually it WAS the Most High God or All-Being. The visible aspects were called His Body (positive and masculine) and the invisible aspects called Her Spirit (negative and feminine). It connected and existed through and within all things. It was the medium from which all creation was created and through which all creation and conscious life could communicate. In the LDS Doctrine and covenants we are taught a similar principle
6 He that … comprehended all things, that he might be in all and through all things, the light of truth;
7 …As also he is in the sun, and the light of the sun, and the power thereof by which it was made.
8 As also he is in the moon, and is the light of the moon, and the power thereof by which it was made;
9 As also the light of the stars, and the power thereof by which they were made;
10 And the earth also, and the power thereof…
12 Which light proceedeth forth… to fill the immensity of space —
13 The light which is in all things, which giveth life to all things, which is the law by which all things are governed, even the power of God… who is in the bosom of eternity, who is in the midst of all things (D&C 88:6–13).
The Law of One or Ra material unfolds a similar concept of the unity and divinity of all creation. The idea that by perceiving all things as simply different aspects of the same unified creation, just as each cell in our body is just a different connected aspect of ourselves, then we begin on the path of unity which brings peace and harmony to all of creation. They state,
Consider, if you will, that the universe is infinite. This has yet to be proven or disproven, but we can assure you that there is no end to your selves, your understanding, what you would call your journey of seeking, or your perceptions of the creation.
That which is infinite cannot be many, for many-ness is a finite concept. To have infinity you must identify or define that infinity as unity; otherwise, the term does not have any referent or meaning. In an Infinite Creator there is only unity. You have seen simple examples of unity. You have seen the prism which shows all colors stemming from the sunlight. This is a simplistic example of unity.
…There is no polarity for all will be, as you would say, reconciled at some point in your dance through the mind/body/spirit complex which you amuse yourself by distorting in various ways at this time. This distortion is not in any case necessary. It is chosen by each of you as an alternative to understanding the complete unity of thought which binds all things. You are not speaking of similar or somewhat like entities or things. You are every thing, every being, every emotion, every event, every situation. You are unity. You are infinity. You are love/light, light/love. You are. [I am that I AM] This is the Law of One.
This concept of the unity of God and man or at-one-ment (one-ness) pervades the Christian scriptural record. The fall was division from God (Gen 3:23–24) and to be redeemed is to be reunified (D&C 76:56–59). Christ prayed that all men “might be one with him” as he was “one with the father” (John 17:11,21). He taught that he was in the Father and the Father in him (John 14:8–11). He prayed that others might be in him. He compared himself to a true vine (John 15:1–12) just as Paul compared the many different members of the Church to the different members of a person’s body, which are all connected and part of one consciousness (Rom 12:5, 1 Cor 12:11–27). Even in Mormon scripture, Christ constantly reaffirms the unity of himself with the Father and the Holy Spirit, trying to teach the concept of one from many (3 Ne 11:27,36). He effectively pleads that man might align and unite their consciousness with his, and share in one unified collective group consciousness (Mos 18:21, 3 Ne 20:35, 3 Ne 15:17, 3 Ne 28:10, 4 Ne 1:3–17, Mormon 7:7).
LDS scripture, Oahspe, The Law of One and many ancient texts all agree that this highest principle, Father or first cause is steeped in paradox. Being both beginning and end, distant and ever-present, both personal and impersonal, both knowable and shrouded in mystery.
The Spirit World and the Physical World: The Two Primary Dimensions:
Most scriptural creation descriptions begin with a detail of how the unified field was first divided into heaven and earth — or spirit and matter. In the Hebrew account, preserved in the Bible it details how God first divided the light from the dark, then the “waters” or firmament creating “heaven” and earth. This is followed by other divisions of “positive and negative” properties such as that of the land from the sea, and man from woman, or humans from god in heavenly paradise. Although the biblical account is primarily geocentric (dealing with earth only, see Moses 1:35) in many accounts such as the Hindu sacred works, The Kolbrin, Oahspe, etc there is far more descriptive language which makes the micro/macrocosmic nature of these creation drama cosmologies more obvious. Piecing all the information in these sources together we get an idea that matter/energy in the galaxy were first separated into two great divisions which I think are best classified as “dimensions”. These are the physical and spiritual, analogous to the positive and negative, or the ideal feminine and masculine. In terms of modern physics this is the division between the proton and electron or physical nucleus and electron orbital/energy shells. The Law of One material uses a theory described by a poorly known physicist named Dewey Larson who wrote a number of books describing the universe as a product of “motion” in the unified field. He describes this primary division of “physical” and “spiritual” dimensions as time/space and space/time. In space/time or our “physical” world, the illusion of physical existence, like the atomic nucleus is created by a standing wave where velocity through space is small compared to time. In time/space or the earth’s spirit world the opposite is true and high velocity creates a more subjective and fluid reality. In other words when a person dies they become like an electron, a quickened or rapidly vibrating “light being” or “spirit” and reside within what we (from our physical perspective) see as the earth’s electromagnetic field or “heaven”. The reality we inherit there is much like what physicist are learning about electrons. In that dimension of light, “material” properties are subjective and dependent upon the observer. Oahspe similarly describes the two primary dimensions as the Corporeal and Atmospherean worlds, which are opposingly objective and subjective planes; the atmosherean or spirit sphere existing on and “above” the earth occupying roughly the same space as the earth’s atmosphere and magnetic field (20/19.24, 20.3, 21.2). Early LDS leaders as well as essentially every other credible mystic I have read describe the Spirit World as being above and part of the earth–but in another “dimension”.
04/2.2. Jehovah said: I created the earth, and fashioned it, and placed it in the firmament; and by My presence, brought man forth a living being. I gave him a corporeal [physical] body so that he could learn corporeal [physical] things; and I made death so that he could rise in the firmament and inherit My etherean [spiritual] worlds.
04/2.3. To es [spirit] I gave dominion over corpor [matter]; with es I filled all place in the firmament (even within corpor). But corpor I made into earths, moons, stars and suns; beyond number I made them, and I caused them to float in the places I allotted to them.
Using the fractal analogy, it can be helpful to view the spirit world as the “mind of the earth”. So if you take our human bodies as microcosms, you can imagine our bodies like the physical dimension to the earth and our minds or imaginations as the spirit world or spirit dimension of the earth. (In many eastern traditions and holograph theory, the fractal analogy is used to assume our minds are projected into our bodily energy fields or “auras” which then interact with the fields of others through the global field.) Our bodies are commanded by our mind or consciousness (although the body can opposingly influence the mental state as well), but they have different capabilities altogether. Our bodies are concrete and bound by rigid and objective physical laws. Our mind’s consciousness moves near the speed of light and is more fluid, having the ability to imagine ourselves doing things subjectively. Our mind’s imaginations are not bound by the same rules that our bodies are yet at the same time our bodies are a product of our state of mind, which is a condition very similar to how the spirit world is often described. In the spirit world it seems that our thoughts become objective things or in other words your thoughts become reality as you essentially inherit the mental state you built for yourself in life (on an individual and group level). The spirit world is the “mind” or imagination of the world, created by the collective consciousness of all humanity and responsible for creating the reality which mortals view as our earth.
For those within one of the stratified levels of the Spirit World, the rules and reality of the realm you find yourselves in are essentially determined by the group you share that reality with. If the group believes the world is a dark and gloomy place, it will be (hell). If you are imbalanced, disharmonious, mean or evil, you will go to a place with people like you, and your environment will be a projection of the groups mental state. If the group is full of life, happiness and love, this will be their reality (heaven). If your world-view and mental state is controlled by a religion, you will go to a heaven created by your religion and it will be divided into sub-realms matching the mentally created divisions of the adherents. If you strongly believe Jesus will meet you there, he will. If you believe Vishnu will meet you there, he will. If you have acted contrary to group will and inwardly fear retribution, you will likely find just that. On earth our reality is determined by the composite state of mind of ALL living & dead conscious souls and the delay between group thought or desire and manifestation is large; but in the Spirit Word things are more markedly separated causing our reality to be a result of the state of mind of ONLY those sharing our realm, and the delay between group thought and actualization is very small. Salvation and redemption truly are states of mind and are obtained by our “faith, hope and love” or the way we view the world. To use the idiom, in this life we make our beds and in the next we are forced to lie in them. This is why religion and mystics put such a strong emphasis on faith and works, because our faith or beliefs represent our desired mental environment and our works or acts are a manifestation of our true mental environment. And it is this mental environment which creates our realities in a subjective sense in this life and in an objective sense in the next. These are very difficult concepts to teach, but if you read a few thousand life after death experiences or channeled works you begin to see a cohesive picture of the principles which control the human mind and spiritual world, and you also begin to see the meaning behind all the symbolic phrases in religion which teach these principles. Take these words from the book of Alma for example.
7 …for behold, they are their own judges, whether to do good or do evil.
14 Therefore, my son, see that you are merciful unto your brethren; deal justly, judge righteously, and do good continually; and if ye do all these things then shall ye receive your reward; yea, ye shall have mercy restored unto you again; ye shall have justice restored unto you again; ye shall have a righteous judgment restored unto you again; and ye shall have good rewarded unto you again.
15 For that which ye do send out shall return unto you again, and be restored; therefore, the word restoration more fully condemneth the sinner, and justifieth him not at all. (see Alma 41:7–15)
To the intelligent, this common sense principle of cause and effect, karma or the law of the harvest is an obvious part of our human reality. But what life after death experiences suggest is that it is intensified and made far more obvious after death in the Spirit World. In the next section we will read some examples of the Spirit World and see what examples we can garner from a comparative analysis.

The Trinity: The Three Divisions within each Dimension

The Three Realms: comparing the various accounts of Western mystics
Both the earth’s spiritual dimension and its physical dimension are often divided into three primary divisions by mystics. Just like the three primary colors, these divisions are somewhat arbitrary, but they are used to categorize the fundamental divisions of each dimension. (reword) In this section we will compare several different accounts of the Spirit World by several different mystics.

-The spirit world is like all the history of the earth (past and future) combined into one place. There is no “time” as we know it there, and time is available to those able to grasp it. Most are not, however, and they move through “realms” which are essentially the equivalent of time in the mortal dimension. That means all seven densities (described in the next section) exist within the spirit world (called time/space by the Law of One). In the mortal dimension we evolve or progress through time (moving into the future as our experience and understanding increase), there we evolve or progress through space (moving into new spatial realms as our understanding and experience increase).

LDS view of the Spirit World
For LDS people the above descriptions of the Spirit world should sound familiar. They are remarkably similar to the description of “three degrees of glory” revealed by Joseph Smith in D&C 76. A major difference however is the LDS doctrine that the degrees of glory revealed by Joseph Smith are states of being AFTER the resurrection of the dead. As we will delineate below, this comes from a misunderstanding of our own scripture…

Misunderstandings in Christian Concepts of the Spirit World
There is a lot of confusion when it comes to the ‘spirit world’ or ‘world of spirits’ and the resurrection. A lot of this has to do with the ambiguous meaning of the words “physical” and “spiritual”. In the minds of many Christian adherents, the world of Spirits is a place where one’s “spirit” goes after death awaiting a “resurrection” when we will again be reunited with our “bodies”. But what do any of these words mean? Thousands of life after death experiences give evidence to the fact that after death, people still perceive themselves to have “physical bodies” although they know it is a different type of body than they had while living. In the LDS Doctrine & Covenants we learn that “There is no such thing as immaterial matter. All spirit is matter, but it is more fine or pure, and can only be discerned by purer eyes” (D&C 131:7–8). This idea that the spirit dimension is made of perceptively palpable or “physical” matter just as this dimension, is verified in other religious accounts of the after world as well as life after death experiences. All the accounts cited in this work assert that, despite the many different descriptions of the places people find themselves after death, they all seem to agree that they still have a “body” very similar to the one they possessed in mortality (most agree it is a better body than their earth body). They also suggest they live on an improved version of “earth”. It is simply an earth in a parallel reality which has little interaction with our own.
Accounts of individuals living in limitation and anxiously awaiting a “physical resurrection on earth” as suggested in D&C 138 are almost unheard of. Instead these accounts suggest that beings soon after death inherit eternal worlds which are parallel to and patterned after our physical earth world. They also almost ubiquitously suggest this eternal world is divided into “many” realms in an arrangement more similar to the LDS degrees of glory than the LDS & medieval concepts of spirit paradise, purgatory and prison. Many suggest a concept in which realms are separated by what most describe as a “wall of fire”. Essentially, in the same way that the continents here on earth are separated by an ‘expanse’ of water or ocean, in the afterlife the many realms or regions (continent like lands called plateaus in Oahspe) are separated by an energy barrier which is difficult to penetrate without help from higher beings or appropriate technology.
Really the only real differences between the realms of the earth’s spiritual plane and the physical plane are the rules of physics which govern the realm, how beings enter and leave the realm, and the use of sexual reproduction. Accounts suggest the perceived physicality of the realm is no different.
Misunderstandings in the LDS view of the Spirit World
LDS people generally believe that the three realms or degrees of glory spoken of in D&C 76 are separate planets of sorts which the righteous will inherit AFTER the “resurrection of the dead”; the first of which is said to occur at Christs return to the mortal earth. Comparison with other available texts suggest this is a misinterpretation of our own revelations. We see this not only from Oahspe and other more descriptive texts, but by the revelation itself (as we will address in a moment). Comparative analysis shows that the three degrees of glory shown in Joseph Smith and Sidney Rigdon’s vision, are actually just a more detailed description of the earth’s spiritual dimension or “Spirit World”. Although, because of the fractal relationship (as previously discussed) they are also dualistic descriptions of a future state of earth when it will obtain these glories by virtue of its orientation in the galactic energy field (more on this later). Oahspe and JS Ward’s works spend hundreds and hundreds of pages describing these same 3 degrees of glory in detail, making it clear that they are principally realms within the ‘spirit world’ or spirit dimension of earth.
The fact that Joseph Smith’s vision is speaking principally of souls in the spirit world before the physical resurrection is clear from a careful reading of the revelation, as it consistently speaks of “those who SHALL [in the future] hear the voice of the Son of Man; and SHALL [in the future] come forth in the resurrection” (D&C 76:15–17). The entire vision is of the heavenly realms BEFORE the resurrection at Christ’s second coming and is correspondingly framed with the resurrection in future tense. Notice at the end of the description of the Celestial Glory, it says that this was a description of “they who SHALL [in the future] have part in the first resurrection.” or “they who SHALL come forth in the resurrection of the just” (D&C 76:63–65). Not those who have come forth or did come forth or do come forth, but those who shall in the future. As opposed to the next verses which explain that these celestial spirits “are those who ARE [currently] come up to Mont Zion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly place, the holiest of all” (D&C 76:66). Which Oahspe explains in detail is the name to the highest realm of Spirit World where the currently acting god of earth dwells. Likewise in the description of the inhabitants of the telestial kingdom it says its inhabitants are “they who ARE thrust down to hell” (D&C 76:84). Not who were or shall be, but ARE [currently] in the telestial realm which is hell or spirit prison. It continues to say that those in hell or the telestial kingdom are “they who SHALL [future tense] not be redeemed from the devil until the last resurrection” (D&C 76:85) which is after the millennium. There are literally dozens of references where the verb tense shows clearly that these visions were not so much of a future state of people after the resurrection, but the current state of those in the Spirit World awaiting the time in which they will come back to a physical plane of earth when it has attained a glory equal or greater than their own.
Now this is where the confusion comes in, because these realm names are often used dualistically. They can refer both to a realm within the earth’s spirit world (as in D&C 76) OR to the earth itself at a future state when it reaches that same glory (as in D&C 77:1, 88:18–31, 130:9). In fact the term resurrection (which comes from the latin, ‘raise or appear again’) can also be used dualistically. It can refer to an ascension within the earth’s spirit planes (as in Alma 40:15, or Oahspe which ubiquitously uses it in this sense.). Or to the return of an individual to the physical dimension of earth, which occurs when earth has risen to a density/glory or vibratory level which matches that of their spirit world abode. For instance, terrestrial souls would wait in the terrestrial realm of the Spirit World until a Physical Dimension of the earth attains an equal energy density; which then allows them to be either resurrected (in the case of the 4rth density earth plane) or reincarnated (in the case of the 3rd density earth plane) back to earth’s “physical plane” or dimension (for more information on reincarnation, see the article, To Go No More Out).
This will all become a bit more clear in the section entitled Summary of Scriptural History and Christian Eschatology, where we will describe how for the last few thousand years, the earth has been at or below a telestial glory. But it is currently moving into a terrestrial level as well as activating a physical 4th density (or a parallel physical plane that is roughly a Terrestrial glory) which will climax during the prophesied “millennium”. This will be followed by other raises and falls, until the earth one day far in the future is irradiated sufficiently to contain a dimension where it is a celestialized star (D&C 88:18–20, 130:9).

Misinterpretation of D&C 76:106–112 is a big part of LDS people’s incorrect views. verse 106 steps out of the vision and begins to talk about the telestial glory (a state which the physical realm of our earth currently exists) after the fulness of times or the end of the millennium. It is after that future date that Christ shall deliver His kingdom to the Father (at which time all remaining terrestrial glory people of earth will be “caught up” or translated to the “new” 4rth density parallel “heaven and earth”. Leaving the Telestial glory inhabitants of earth’s corporal and spirit dimensions to be judged and transplanted or “cast out” to a telestial sphere in the Galaxy which because of laws of divergence will entail that “where [our] God and [his] Christ dwell they cannot come, worlds without end” (D&C 76:112, Rev 12:10). — (perhaps I should give this its own paragraph and add law of one quotes to explain it better)] [Also might want to note the discrepancy between sources concerning whether our current 3rd density/telestial earth will fluidly transition into the 4th density/terrestrial world (as oahspe suggests) or whether the 4rth density is activating in parallel with this 3rd density existence and all will have to die or be translated to make the transition. (Law of One states this emphatically and LDS suggests it with scriptures such as “there will be a new heaven and new earth, like unto the old, save that the old has passed away”. There are far more witnesses suggesting the latter, which also seems more logical. This is where many of the misunderstandings in Christianity come with groups mistakenly believing they will suddenly disappear in a “rapture” or that Jesus will come flying through heaven with his Saints in a grand mystical experience which defies all the current laws of physics. ].

Tying it all together with Christian Eschatology
This idea that the realms of glory spoken of in D&C 76 are actually just a more detailed description of the spirit world which earlier Book of Mormon prophets over simplified into only two realms of paradise and prison may seem in contradiction to many LDS diagrams and descriptions of eternal progression, but a careful reading and comparisons with other texts make it self evident. As mentioned above, Oashpe and many other texts give strikingly similar accounts of the earth’s heavenly kingdoms. They also talk about the principles governing movement (ascension and declension) between these realms. In Oahspe this movement is confusingly called resurrection, which is the same term it and the biblical canon use for movement to other higher dimensional locations in the galaxy, as well as the prophesied return of souls to the millennial “terrestrialized” or “celestialized” earth when the physical dimension of earth raises to a level of vibration or glory matching those found in the spirit world and the temporary abodes of the estranged galactic travelers (more on this later). Alma speaks of the confusion caused by this terminology in the ancient texts when we speaks to his son Corianton about paradise and prison in earth’s spirit dimension.
14 Now this is the state of the souls of the wicked, yea, in darkness, and a state of awful, fearful looking for the fiery indignation of the wrath of God upon them; thus they remain in this state, as well as the righteous in paradise, until the time of their resurrection.
15 Now, there are some that have understood that this state of happiness and this state of misery of the soul, before the resurrection, was a first resurrection. Yea, I admit it may be termed a resurrection, the raising of the spirit or the soul and their consignation to happiness or misery, according to the words which have been spoken. (Alma 40:14–15)

2. As all creatures come forth from the unseen into this world, so they return to the unseen, and so will they come again till they be purified. 3. There is a resurrection from the body, and there is a resurrection in the body. There is a raising out of the life of the flesh, and there is a falling into the life of the flesh. The body that ye lay in the grave, or that is consumed by fire, is not the body that shall be, but they who come shall receive other bodies, yet their own, and as they have sown in one life, so shall they reap in another. Blessed are they who have worked righteousness in this life, for they shall receive the crown of life. So although there can be some confusion when certain texts speak of resurrection, when the bible and LDS cannon speak of resurrection, they are typically referring to the return of souls to the physical dimension of earth, and not ascensions within the spirit world. (Although because of the fractal relationships, these references can almost always dualistically refer to ascensions within the spirit world as well). But before getting into that, lets explore the divsions of the spiritual realms of the earth in detail, and compare and contrast some of the different accounts of these places.
This process of true resurrection (and translation) is outlined specifically in many parts of oahspe (refs) of which I will attempt to summarize in the next section. But first it is important to revisit our cosmology and get an idea of the energy densities or “glories” which transfigure the earth as it travels with our Solar System around the galaxy in its galactic orbit.

States of Physical Resurrection and the Seven Energy Densities in the Galaxy.
We have previously been speaking only of the divisions within the earth’s Spirit World, but will now turn our attention to what Christian scripture more typically refers to with the word “physical resurrection”. This has to do with the actual destruction of BOTH a bodies physical and spiritual dimensions, and their re-creation in another density. There are many LDS and Christian scriptures which point to this occurrence (list scriptures). These scriptures are referring to an actual destruction of the earth and its heavens (spirit dimension). The concept of harvest points to the translation of all redeemable consciousness to a parallel dimension of sorts before our current one is made uninhabitable (likely by a direct hit from a large solar flare or coronal mass ejection). Before we get into too much more detail, lets get an idea of how the words “density” and “dimension” are used in this article by showing how they relate to the eternal progression of our earth and its inhabitants.
As explained in our cosmology section, the Solar system travels in a helical or spiral motion around the center of the galaxy in a course called the Great Serpent by the ancients. Oahspe and other texts refer to energy dense and energy starved regions in this orbit which affects the “glory” or level of harmony and “righteousness” of the earth and its inhabitants. It also details the manner in which travel occurs between the earth’s heavens or spiritual dimensions and the governing bodies…
The Doctrine and Covenants reinforces this concept stating the
18 Therefore, [the earth] must needs be sanctified from all unrighteousness, that it may be prepared for the celestial glory;
19 For after it hath filled the measure of its creation, it shall be crowned with glory, even with the presence of God the Father;
20 That bodies who are of the celestial kingdom may possess it forever and ever; for, for this intent was it made and created, and for this intent are they sanctified. (D&C 88:18–20)

What we have is, as our planet is spiraled by the spiraling action of the entire major galaxy, as the big wheel in the sky turns and our planetary system spirals into the new position, the fourth-density [terrestrial] vibrations become more and more pronounced. These atomic core vibrations begin to create, more and more completely… the fourth-density sphere and the fourth-density [bodies] for inhabitation of that sphere. Is this correct?
Response: This is partially correct. To be corrected is the concept of the creation of green-ray density [bodies]. This creation will be gradual and will take place beginning with your third-density type of physical vehicle and, through the means of bisexual reproduction, become by evolutionary processes, the fourth-density body complexes.
In a different way, all of these divisions tend to separate into seven divisions classified as “densities” (terminology coined by the law of one). These seven are divisions in consciousness can be compared to…. like musical octet or color through a prism.
Our Solar System has a poorly understood sinusoidal orbit around the core of our Mily-way galaxy much like our planet orbits our sun. This orbit brings us through many varying energy densities which essentially control the progression or evolution of our planet (and consequently us as mankind). In the same way that our angle of inclination governs the intensity of the suns energy which reaches the surface (whether its summer, winter, etc), so also does the planet and solar systems angle of inclination dictate which density we are in. This is where the precession of the equinoxes really comes in. its not so simple as current astronomy describes it, the solar system’s orbit is a helical spiral, this means the sun in wobbling in precession AS WELL as the earth. The reason this really matters, is because it is the combined magnetic moment or angle at which our earth and suns magnetic fields travel through the galactic magnetic field that controls the energy exchange. When a charged particle travels perpendicurly through a magnetic field, a current is produced, if the angle is not perpendicular, the force changes accordingly. The “densities” our earth posesses is dictated by this angle between our earth mag field and the galactic one. we are about to have a 1000 year period where we align into 4rth density…
As a planet moves through the densities it aligns with the consciousness or intelligent energy or “spirit” of that density and “evolution” occurs spontaneously according to the instructions the realm is receiving from the God or giver of intelligence which emanates out from the galactic core. In the same way that a tuning fork with “hum” or vibrate to the same tune when placed in proximity of an appropriately vibrating soundwave, the atomic core vibrations of a particular “density” vibrate in tune with the energy density in which they are aligned. This energy density contains information just like a cell phone or television transmission. The information in this energy directs and organizes matter holographically just like DNA to a developing organism; and the organization proceeds within certain random limits according to the fractal pattern or intelligence contained in the corresponding informational energy density.
1st Density: Mineral life begins to divide and separate in a fractal pattern. Atoms of all the important elements stabilize and begin to form mineral compounds. Some type of atmosphere slowly forms making the planet suitable for life. There is no spiritual realm. (find quotes and references)
2nd Density: Life which arrives from interstellar “semu” (see oahspe) as well as from other more advanced planets, begins to spread and flourish. A sort of “theistic evolution” occurs among the unknown number of kinds or species transplanted from other planets. (scientists and creationists should stop bickering and start figuring out what the seed species in the fossil record are. Evolution is watched over by many levels of beings, but most importantly from the intelligence contained in the “density field” with which the planet is aligned during this period. This intelligence or information embedded in the field is called by religions the “spirit of god”. Just as 1st density, there is no spirit realm or dimension on these planets. 3rd Density: Our planet is currently at the last phase of this stage of development. “Man” or an animal capable of self awareness and self determination or eternal life develops or is introduced to a planet. The development is either by transplant or genetic manipulation of native animals by higher life forms. A sentient self aware “spirit” is placed into this life form. A spirit world or dimension forms and begins to be inhabited by those who die. (find quotes and references)
4rth Density: Man develops advanced technology and joins the galactic community. In the physical dimension the body evolves psychic abilities in the brain to allow greater communication with the creation and each other. In the spirit worlds he begins psychically coalesce into what might be termed a “social memory complex”. This is a unique type of group consciousness where each member can see the thoughts and intents of others… it allows evolution to progress much more quickly. Both technological and spiritual methods are devised to bridge the divide between the spirit and physical dimensions. (find quotes and references)
5th Density: Man begins to replace all functions of technology with exercises in consciousness. He is able to travel the galaxy by thought. He can project himself to any place or time… His planet begins to be a gas giant and the need for a physical body is as a 3rd density being understands it, is unnecessary. 6th Density: The “planet” or gas giant becomes a sun. The inhabitants no longer inhabit the physical realm at all. The unified consciousness of these planets is beyond the comprehension of 3rd density beings.
7th Density. Again, there is no physical habitation and the unified consciousness of these planets is beyond the comprehension of 3rd density beings.
8th Density begins the 1st Density of the next octet of existence. There is no information available to us concerning this next cycle of life.
The seven periods or electron shell configurations on the periodic chart are a fractal relationship to the seven evolutionary densities of the earth and matter as it progresses on its eternal journey. Each has a distinct “energy state”; the farther an atom’s (or human’s) energy state deviates from the earth’s present energy state (which is late 3rd density), the greater the entropy.
The earth’s spirit world actually contains the potential for each of earth’s possible material energy states (more on that later). But just as the differing atomic numbers are a factor of the heat and pressure the atom was under during its formation, likewise the energy state of the earth is a factor of the “energy density” or energy pressure it was under when it last when through a major energy transformation. The earth’s material state (proton number/core vibration) also subtly changes as it moves into differing energy densities in the universe which accordingly affects its electric field stability (spirit world divisions). The consciousness of the earth’s inhabitants dictates the number and shape of its energy shells (levels of the spirit world). As people on earth align their consciousness with higher galactic wavelengths, they can add an additional electron energy shell (corresponding to a higher level of the spirit world). However, the balance between the earths Spirit World (magnetic field strength/shape correlating to electron shell configuration) determines the earth’s stability. And stability is very important when we go through galactic energy transformations (baptism by fire).
When earth crosses the boundary seeking to transform/translate our sphere from 3rd to 4rth density, if our spirit world or energy shell has not yet reached a composite 4rth density polarization and configuration it will cause trouble. For the proper alchemy to occur, the energy shell must FIRST be polarized, then the appropriate mass (protons & neutrons) can be added under pressure to accomplish the transformation. The sun is currently doing its best to polarize the earth. The drop in our measured magnetic field is a consequence of that; our magnetic field isn’t decaying as much as it is polarizing to a more negative state in preparation of balancing the coming highly positively charged particles of the coronal mass ejection. (The baptism by fire and Spirit is essentially sexual union between the sun and earth, and this fractal relationship contains a lot of information concerning the most beneficial manners to exchange conjugal love.)

Summary of Scriptural History and Christian Eschatology
Summarize the following sections in an opening paragraph. We come from many sources, some fell from or volunteered to come from higher densities, others are progressing from lower densities, and others have been in other third density planets for a long, long time. All who come here must enter the samed veiled realm which equalizes us and leaves the opportunity of getting stuck. Like a giant spinning maze, we are all looking for the exit and trying to learn and enjoy ourselves while we’re here.
Reincarnation vs. Resurrection.
Reincarnation is not taught in Christianity, per se, because in an idealized sense it should not apply to one who has been born again into the body of Christ. By being born of the water and spirit a christian gives up his individualized memory, and becomes part of a group where the rules of physical rebirth are different than the world.
The principles around this are concept lost to Christianity in general but there is enough scriptural evidence to unraval it.
As the law of ONe teaches, as one becomes fully integrated into a social memory complex “The group memory lost to the individuals in the roots of the tree of mind”
Ra: A mind/body/spirit social complex becomes a social memory complex when its entire group of entities are of one orientation or seeking. The group memory lost to the individuals in the roots of the tree of mind then become[s] known to the social complex, thus creating a social memory complex. The advantages of this complex are the relative lack of distortion in understanding the social beingness and the relative lack of distortion in pursuing the direction of seeking, for all understanding/distortions are available to the entities of the society.”
Somewhere we have to go through this. (it should probably be before this. copy the whole “To Go No More Out” article here?) It is such a complex topic that it will be hard to set straight, but people must realize that to some extent these words point to the same phenomena. The problem is that the word resurrection can denote several different phenomena; there is a resurrection in the body and a resurrection from the body. Resurrection can refer to ascension between degrees of heaven, translation to a higher density (earth in the future) or a return to earth. People are indeed reborn at the end of an age. Oahspe is the only text that adimately opposes the idea of re-entering a womb… but all other text, common sense and biblical history highly suggest the idea of re entering a womb. (the idea that that aborted babies, will just go to heaven, grow up there and never experience 3rd density earth-life is pretty silly. Also biblical verses suggest there will be birth during the ‘millenium’, so where do those spirits come from?..)
This was so misunderstood, both anciently and modernly. Some points to cover.
Explain how oahspe classifies ascension from kingdom to kingdom as resurrections.. which is important because….
Alma & Abinadi and traditional christian theology teach Christ was the first to be resurrected (which they interpret as someone who lives in heaven with a body of flesh and bone which is touchable to us mortals). But this is not exactly true; Elijah, Moses, the city of Enoch and others were all translated to heaven without dying RETAINING their bodies of flesh and bone (their bodies being transfigured to higher density light bodies, just like Jesus’s).
The question is, where do these beings live? I believe Elijah and Moses’ “chariots of fire” were obviously equivalent to Oahspe’s “fire ships” which are huge technologically advanced spacecraft–having the ability to beam people aboard and dimension shift to higher densities. I think the time Christ was also pretty obviously a “harvest” such as those detailed in Oahspe. A fireship coming and taking many of those in the highest levels of the spirit world, off planet… these will come back when earth is raised high enough for their bodies to live on it.
I think Alma & Abinadi are actually using the same source that John and the new Testament authors are pulling from concerning the “first resurrection” or resurrection of the just and unjust. I think Abinidi (and Alma who is quoting him) mistakes the “first resurrection” which is to actually occur at Christ’s second coming, when he says the first resurrection will occur at Christ’s first coming. Or he may be mistaking a heavenly resurrection (raising to a fireship) with an earthly resurrection (returning to earth). Either way I think there’s obviously some misunderstanding there…
Pre-Mortal Existence
The pre-mortal existence of LDS theology is an ambiguous term referring to multiple states. Any description of pre-mortal existence must be ambiguous because the souls of those on earth are derived from multiple sources. Near death experiences often speak of their unborn children existing in the spirit world along side with their deceased loved ones. The law of one speaks of at least three major 3rd density planetary sphere which have contributed to the souls of those currently on earth. A solid case can be made that those of the antediluvian period who did not meet the requirements for translation were resurrected/reincarnated here on earth during its telestial/3rd density cycle.
Antediluvian Period
Antediluvian story also archetypical referring to multiple times and events. There is a direct correlaiton between the biblical antediluvian period and the scriptural description of the Millennium. This is NOT a coincidence, but is meant to point our minds to the fact that both these periods are descriptions of a terrestrial plane.
Correlations Between the antediluvian Period and the Mellenial Period.
-Adam reigned for a thousand years as the “first man Adam”. Christ will reign for a thousand years as the “last man adam”. (refs).
-Both periods last roughly 1000 years (plus a “short season”) which is “a day” in the time of the Lord (refs)
-The average lifespan of antediluvians was 900 years. Since there will “be no death” (ref) during the mellenium, we can assume people during that period will also live ~1000 years (the age of a tree, ref).
-The antediluvian period ended with destruction of the earth by water. The millennium will end with destruction of the earth by fire (refs).
-At the end of the antediluvian period there was a complete separation of the righteous and wicked. The wicked were destroyed and the righteous were translated or caught up to heaven. The same is taught of the end of the millenium. (refs).

Where did people from this age go? To another planet in the Solar System as some myths suggest? To the earth’s spirit world? Most likely they jumped directly through the Spirit World (or time/space or hyperspace or whatever you want to call it) and will suddenly appear on 4rth density earth. The trip will appear as it took an instant to them, and they will be the seed civilization for that newly activated sphere of earth.
Patriarchal Age
Little is mentioned of the Patriarchal Age spanning from Noah to Abraham. The genealogy of these 7 patriarchs in steeped in symbolism and hidden messages (refs, examples). Both Oahspe and The law of One suggest that this biblical description is a metaphor symbolizing a period of several past cyclical ages. Detail the timelines of these two records. During this period the earth likely drastically changed its location in the Solar System. The earth also fell from lower 4rth density to upper 3rd density (roughly corresponding to terrestrial and telestial glory in LDS terms). Because the earth was changing location, speed and many other properties, time transformations are a bit meaningless. Time was dilating or in gradual flux during that period. Even if it had the same number of days, minutes and seconds (which it didn’t) the time was drastically different than that which we now experience. Also air pressure, water pressure, and the density of matter was in flux. Radiometric decay of atoms were also in flux.
The Current Age
The current telestial (3rd density) earth will continue for a finite but relatively short unknown amount of time. At the end of this time planet earth will be desolated by fire, most likely by a direct hit CME (Coronal Mass Ejection) from our sun. Because of the state of our planetary electromagnetic field, this hit will strip away earth’s atmosphere by the same process which has occurred to planets like mars. The CME or period of intense solar instability which desolates the planet will coincide with a celestial cycle likely correlating loosely with our current understanding of solar evolution where a sun is transformed from its current state as main sequence yellow dwarf to a white dwarf. There is no reason to fear this event — all consciousness will be carefully saved.
People & matter progress naturally and unavoidably through dimensions in the same involuntary way we move through time (although unlike time, progression of each individual occurs at their own unique rate). Galactic mechanics “potentiate” and “activate” new planetary dimensions sequentially. The orbital periods of elements is a microcosm for this phenomena.The law of one suggests that the current earth has recently activated a fourth dimension or density. — And that humans have just recently began to incarnate on that physical 4rth density of earth. The current “harvest” or “resurrection” has to do with gracefully moving every earth being into that new density before our 3rd density planet becomes unviable.
During this period of planetary evolution, many beings are and will be at work harvesting the souls or intelligences of our planet into the next density or dimension. (This is the work of exaltation and resurrection from telestial or 3rd density to terrestrial or 4rth density). This dimension shifting process or resurrection and transfiguration is currently taking place only in the spirit world or earth’s spiritual dimension, but as technology advances, means will be revealed to transfigure people directly from our physical plane to the 4rth density physical plane. For most however, this process will occur after normal death, switching from the 4rth density spirit world (also sometimes called hyperspace or space/time) to the 4rth density spirit world and then incarnating once again into the physical through natural birth.
The Millenial Age
The “Millenium” is a archetypical term referring to both the current “golden age” of 3rd density earth existence as well as referring to both life in the upper realms/kingdoms of 3rd density heaven/spirit world and 4rth density “resurrected” existence. Go through each scripture and delineate. The “second coming” of Christ is also an archetypical occurrence. In one sense it is an occurrence that simply refers to the transition between ages or cycles. During these times the archetypes are chosen, and energy barriers in the Spirit World weaken allowing ascension between realms or kingdoms. In a broad sense it typologically refers to a work which will be occurring in three different locations.
1- Physical third-density Earth. Earth’s millennial age started roughly with the industrial revolution. In terms of earth time 1000 years is symbolic. Law of one estimates 100–700 years from 1970, but the exact timeframe to end of 3rd density is completely speculative, and really depends on the behavior of mankind. Much of its scriptural references are very metaphorical. Very few supernatural events will occur here. all this is dictated by faith & agency. whether the world in general sees fireships (huge extra-dimensional spacecraft), people beamed on and off, people dimension shifting or being translated, all depends on our faith (our perceptions of what is possible or impossible/frightening dictate what we can see as a human family). Resurrection to our realm will continue to be primarily through birth/reincarnation.
2- Third density earth’s Spirit World. Many scriptural descriptions of the Millenium are talking about the Spirit World. This is where Christ will reign, this is where most of the supernatural events will occur. This is where the city of Enoch and other technologically advanced groups will be working to translated or dimension shift people to the new 4rth density earth.
3- Physical fourth density earth. Some scriptural descriptions of the Millenium are dualistically talking about 4rth density earth. Rev 21 is talking about this… descriptions of “no death”, “long lives”, etc.. refer to this.. This is the destination for the resurrection of the dead in its most literal sense.
The End of the Earth
Refers to the end of 3rd density earth. This plane will be rendered uninhabitable, likely by a large solar flare or coronal mass ejection which will strip the earth of its atmosphere. This is what is meant by ‘destroyed by fire’. (go through the scriptures on the matter)
There will be a new heaven and new earth, which will be like unto the old, save the old have passed away… go through law of one quotes on activation of the 4rth density earth, and the process of moving people to it.
-go through scriptures: elements shall melt with fervent heat, earth shall pass away as by fire (Flare/CME. but this is not the complete end, 3rd density may still be used at some point after this). Planetary contraction will slowly begin to wrap the earth together as a scroll… BUT at the very end, earth’s heaven (earth’s spirit world) and earth’s physical plane will be wrapped together as a scroll (at the very end of 3rd density contraction will accelerate as the earth’s vortex begins collapsing/wrapping up — at some point the entire globe will completely “wrap in” on itself and collapse like a black hole).
The 4rth Density (Terrestrial) Earth
As already mentioned, many scriptural descriptions of the “Millennium” are dualistically referring to the 4rth density or terrestrial state of the earth… Go through Law of One descriptions on the average life span, the interconnectedness to the galactic community, how death works there, the length of the age, etc… The absence of a veil and communication with the spiritual dimension, etc..
Celestial Earth
Go through scriptures on this. Talk about the timeframes involved (literally millions of years in the future, but time is meaningless in time/space), the relationship to nirvana. The relationship with Oahspe’s Etherean worlds. Make clear how it is a completely separate dimension, with completely different physical vehicles than what we now have, so trying to picture it is a bit useless. By then we will essentially be made of light and share in almost completely unified planetary consciousness.

Higher Density Energy Fields Control the Lower
It helps to understand that in the Spirit World or Dream State or Time/Space, time is not like it is here. That state, which is actually 8th density is occurring simultaneously with each of the other densities; and our thoughts there CONTROL our reality here. Because in that state thoughts become things, and being a higher density those things control matter in the lower densities what we think in that state will eventually manifest in our lower states. ALSO, that place (the spirit world) has 7 realms which match the 7 densities. So while we are in the terrestrial level of the spirit world the things we imagine will have a high probability of occurring in the terrestrial mortal state, and a very high probability of occurring in the telestial state. This has to do with the idea that every atom is a vortex or black hole which sucks energy from higher densities to create mass in the lowers. This is why if we can consciously pass desire into ‘the deep roots of the mind’, or dream state it will eventually materialize. Also why our desires always eventually materialize.
Explanation of the Spirit World
The spirit world is a type of the physical world. It is the template from which the Physical World is created. The Physical World exists as a shadow which is cast by the more real plane on which the Spirit World exists. To be continued……. write about it duality… create a new diagram showing it better…. etc…

thoughts to incorporate
-Trying to put it as simply as possible…
-it would be nice if you could start this by comparing it to all matter and light. Light and all matter at some level is energy, and energy is a manifestation of an electromagnetic wave. The wave is composed of two alternating fields. A moving electric field which creates a magnetic field, and an oscillating magnetic field which recreates an electric field. There is a poorly understood relationship between these waves and a particle-like photon. It would seem this is a microcosm of how the moving physical world creates the “spirit world”. And the spirit world “oscillates” to re-create the physical world.
-Matter, much like energy in the universe is quantized in differing densities. We can put names to those quantum states, (even though they are constantly in flux or changing in relation to each other). Mormonism partly calls these states or “glories”, Celestial, Terrestiral, and Telestial. Newbrough called them Ethereal, Atmosphereal and Corporal. The spirit world is a microcosm of the whole and is thus also quantized into three main levels or dimensions. Swendenborg called them Celestial, Spiritual and Natural. Ward’s description of the ‘higher’ heavens (celestial world) are lost, but he describes the other two in traditional catholic terms of hell (Telestial) and purgatory/paradise (terrestrial). The pearl also describes these 3 levels of the spirit world, which are different than the 3 states of matter in the ‘physical’ resurrection.
-confusion is introduced by the fact that individuals, groups and the world in general move through these densities and glories at their own differing rates. Resurrection refers to different aspects of ‘raising’ through these densities. Death can be classified a ‘resurrection’ (ref). The raising from hell/prison to heaven/paradise can be classified a resurrection. But generally in the Christian cannon, resurrection refers to a spirit being able to return to the earth we know now with a body as substantial as the one we have at present. For most the righteous this begins at the ‘coming of Christ’ at the beginning of the millennium. Something will happen where the earth will raise sufficiently in energy state/glory as well as spirits gaining a more substantial spiritual/physical body that those in heaven will be able to commune freely with its inhabitants and also which allows them to eat substances from earth, feel sensations of earth, but not to procreate. The greater resurrection is the translation/harvest at the end of the millennium where the earth itself separates into multiple dimensions much as a person’s body and spirit separate into multiple dimensions at death. At this time ‘people born on earth and ‘resurrected’ spirits coming to earth will be translated into celestial worlds were they will have all capacities of those presently on earth and more… (this isn’t quite right, revise)
-the majority of the spirits of mankind on ‘physical’ earth are somehow begotten or brought into existence or given a new layer of clothing or density by ethereans or celestial higher dimensional beings, but the type of reincarnation which is essentially forced soul possession is quite common. Oahspe says many in atmospherea believe it and forcefully practice it. Ward tells of the officer doing it and it sinking him yet lower in energy. So of those in the Telestial glory/hell there are likely many who will not ascend and will eventually find rebirth after the millennium (for who knows how many times until they finally escape the cycle and ascend).
-explain the idea of higher dimensional unity, and the ‘social memory complex’ of the law of one. Seen from a higher perspective, all individuals of a ‘social memory complex’ or ‘higher self’ or ‘father’ are one being. The ‘fall’ is a fragmentation of a single entity into multiple entities all still connected on a higher level in a ‘group consciousness’. This is how the creator comes to know themselves. Adam could be seen as the father, creator of all humanity. At higher levels of consciousness we are still one Adam/Man. There is a dual process of individuation and re-atonement or reunification.
-many, if not most souls on earth are psychologically connected with each other. The strengths of these connections differ and many religious traditions call strong connections with the disembodied being “possessed”. We are all connected with both good and bad souls from birth so we can be tempted to selfish or selfless action and consequently gain agency. Those who continue to give power to the selfish connection in time become so connected as to be classified as possessed. In other words, the selfish entity has as much or more control over the body/soul as the original spirit. When a somewhat progressed and powerful spirit allows another near equally powerful oppositely polarized spirit control, a polarized conflict ensues where the tendencies labeled to schizophrenics and bipolars are exhibited. (see ra “The entities repeating the third-density major cycle have” and “for when there is a cycle change, those who must repeat then find a planetary sphere appropriate for this repetition” and “thus, the harvest shall be such that many will repeat the third-density cycle”) [so all but celestial spirits are reborn/reincarnated into a new creation. the Telestial into a Telestial earth, the terrestrial into the antediluvian/millennial times of the next cycle.] -this is according to design, as with this system incarnated souls can raise the spirits that possess them to a higher level, especially as the earth as a whole raises to a higher level in the millennium.
-Overview: The LDS temple ceremony gives a great representation of eternal progression. By interspersing the ordinances within the endowment drama while moving from room to room and putting on additional layers of clothing we gain a very sophisticated view of the afterlife if you can see through the symbols.
[put this in para below after we’ve already explained it with quotes from witnesses] Starting with Adam in the Garden of Eden we see three types of mortals. Those like Adam who started in a higher sphere (paradise) and then descend into a created body, those like Eve who are “spirit children” actually separated out from higher beings just as a mortal baby comes forth from its mother, and those like Satan who are wanderers from above and below thrust out of the Father’s organized kingdoms. Adam is called man because he descends from above. Eve is called ‘woman’ because she is pulled from Adam in the same way a child is pulled from the dna and flesh of its mother. Satan is called Lucifer because he was thrust out for selfish noncompliance. After we all end up together here on this Telestial ‘new earth’ which is like unto the old save that the old one died and passed into a new state…………………
-the degrees of glory are two fold. First they are states after the harvest, secondly, however, since they are descriptions of eternal glories they also in a sense classify our state after death. In other words a more detailed description of the spirit world. Note that D&C 76 says “these are they kept in prison” and these are they thrust down to hell”. Most Mormons typically interpret the degrees of glory to be three separate spheres or places where souls will be placed after the resurrection, but notice some of the phrases that suggest this is an incomplete picture. They are predominately states after the resurrection, but since the spirit world is a microcosm of the whole, they also somewhat explain the spirit world.
-really my illustration below hits it right on. But I should modify it to give the bigger picture. Just as the physical body is a shadow or projection of the spirit, so too is the physical world a parallel of the spirit world. The spirit world is separated spatially into roughly 3 kingdoms of 3. The physical world is also separated into 3 kingdoms of 3, however its separation occurs temporally instead of spatially. The three spheres of the spirit world are described in detail by J.S. Ward, the pearl and Swedenborg and are simplified into paradise and prison by mainstream Christianity. The 3 temporal glories of the earth are described by Joseph Smith and Newbrough called Celestial, Terrestrial and Telestial by the former and Etherean, Atmospherean and Corporeal by the latter. So as the earth we now live on moves through space/the universe, it changes glories or dimensions with time. It was terrestrial (atmospherean) during the antediluvian period, it condensed to telestial (corporeal) after the Flood and has remained ever since, but its about to change back to a Terrestrial sphere and it will eventually ‘die’ or be disintegrated and then be ‘reborn’ as a celestial (etherean) sphere. Thus the temporal mirrors the spiritual. Each level or kingdom in the spirit world is composed of a class of being that corresponds to the type of beings predominate on earth during the corresponding glory. When the earth falls into the Telestial dimension and thus is vibrating in the Telestial frequency range it becomes predominately inhabited by spirits with a glory matching the lowest level of the spirit world (Telestial earth = spirit hell). When the earth moves into a region of the universe of greater glory/light/frequency, its inhabitants raise to a level of righteousness matching the middle section of the spirit world/purgatory. Thus the Gods who manage this world are much like gardeners and the Jewish calendar was given to Moses to teach this principle. Some crops are planted in the winter (wheat) but most in the spring. Some crops come up in early spring and even winter in some climates but most wont grow until summer. So too the Gods who manage this world plant certain religions & cultures in the winter (Telestial cycle / time of Christ). Some of the hardier more effective plants/religions were not pulled out from the previous summer. But for the most part they waited until spring (the Renaissance) to plant the widest variety of seeds/religions/philosophies/cultures. But now as we move into summer its time for a major bout of thinning and weed pulling. All the plants will be evaluated, and all the ones that aren’t elevating mankind spiritually will be pulled. After they are pulled, the earth will exist as a carefully cared for garden until the end of this coming Terrestrial cycle/Mellenium when the fruit (exalted souls) will be harvested to a yet higher dimension (celestial planet), and the earth will be burned (disintegrated) and then recreated for the next go round.
-law of one has the highest cosmology. suggests planets and solar systems progress through densities/glories and it has to do with the magnetic alignment of the sphere. so densities are like states of consciousness, that you align with. This alignment must change planets to suns and such as well. Oahspe atmosherea would be space/time or spirit world of LofO and mormonism. Etherean world would be blanket term for all higher densities? (4rth through 6th ish?). LofO says earth is becoming 4rth density (terrestrial).
— Reading D&C 76, it seems almost certain that this is referring to the spirit world. Big clincher is “64 These are they who shall have part in the first resurrection. 65 These are they who shall come forth in the resurrection of the just.” “Shall have part in the first resurrection” means they haven’t yet. It would say “these are they who have come forth” if it was talking about those already resurrected.

-mormonism. D&C 76 seems to be almost entirely spirit world. mormon understanding of earth being a terrestrial glory during millennium and celestial one day is actual dimensions (4rth, 5th density, etherean world).
-New Test. Paul’s 3rd heaven is spirit world. Revelation’s Resurrection is actual 4rth dimension
-swedenborg. I believe this is entirely spirit world.

It would help to add classifications to what a dimension is, and to explain the differences between each glory.
There are still a lot of unanswered questions in this worldview.
-what type of resurrection was Christ the first of in Oahspe terms? Of the etherean grade?
-why cant spirits appear to men except through sargi? (because they are in time/space?) Does meeting the etherean grade make it so they are an equal density as earth and can thus appear to men with the same corporality? (I believe so, but not sure. i think ethereans are fully terrestrial.). How does chine do this in oahspe? (there’s a new age description of this somewhere showing how a body becomes silica based instead of carbon based).
-also where do the souls come from? How are they created by the Gods or Celestial Spirits? and how does that relate to the social memory complex of the law of one.
-Also, how exactly does the resurrection work? We know that raising in the Spirit world can be termed a resurrection, but the true ‘physical christian’ resurrection refers to returning to earth during the millennium (law of one ch 63, adds second witness to christian view that there is a new heaven and earth birthing in 4rth dimension/terrestrial. those worthy are beginning to be born on it. It very much like this world, but is in another dimension. some people are living in both dimensions at once right now. Those in the spirit world worthy of that glory are now birthing into it. This world’s 3rd dimension will be forced to transition somehow… ) How? N.T says some will not die, but get to be changed in the twinkling of an eye. Does oahspe say anything about this for the cosmon age? So will people be born into it or just appear? (LofO seems to suggest they will be born. 63:27) or it raises high enough that atmoshereans can come enjoy it? (I believe there are quotes that say people will live 1000 yrs and there will be no veil between space/time and time/space) That seems like what the scripture is saying..
-Law of one seems to suggest earth is becoming forth density and will not longer be habitable in the 3rd density, so that would suggest that those in oahspe’s atmosherea will get to live on the surface of earth instead of its objective heavens, because earth will become that density
-Is the 4rth density a separate dimension not visible to us? (No.. this earth is currently transitioning to 4rth density. It may take up to 400 years for the transition, but in that time lifespans will slowly lengthen to 1000 years, just as they shortened after the flood. Magical powers will slowly become more common place. Angelic visitations also.)
-Will those who have already lived will just have the ability to materialize onto terrestrial earth in order to help its inhabitants and enjoy its beauties. Just as earth is/was mostly influenced by demons from the hells during the dark ages, it will be mostly influenced by middle kingdom spirits from purgatory during the millennium, except a barrier that has existed will drop and man will be elevated enough to see them.
-The process of translation has to do with dimension shifting people. In these last ages, when earth has been 3rd dimension but people have been ready for 4rth with no need for the healing process of the spirit world, technology is available to transport these groups by ship to 4rth density spheres. These include the etherean ships of oahspe.

-make sure you add a paragraph and diagram showing how your density (according to LofO) is determined by your magnetic alignment, so if you are magnetically aligned perpendicular to the 4rth density field array you will be connected to and have access to that consciousness. The above link shows the structure of these 6/8? vector field arrays. All sacred geometries in ancient religions are based on these mathematical relationships.
One important insight is that those born in the millennium I believe will be mostly those never born in this cycle. So our condition at the final time of harvest/burning (end of millennium) dictates which of the three resurrections we gain. (Telestial/terrestrial/celestial). Those at a Telestial glory (those still in hell at end of millennium) will be reborn into a recreated Telestial earth. The terrestrial glory (those in purgatory) will be physically reborn into the next cycle’s millennium. And only those in upper paradise who have prepared themselves for celestial glory will be translated to the celestial earth dimension when it splits from the earth and takes a divergent path through the universe.
