I also agree with you with the part where you said “teachers must make sure all students and their ideas, backgrounds and opinions are valued in the classroom. The purpose of this is to make sure all students feel included and heard.” In my blog I also mentioned something similar to this with the importance of adding their cultural backgrounds to our lessons for them to “feel included and heard” in the classroom.
