Prayers
Week #1
As a part of the Blackaby study, we are encouraged to write down short prayers that reflect our daily study. I thought that I would chronicle my daily prayers here.
More than anything, these prayers are an intimate reflection of my desire to know God.
I look forward to the day I can return to these prayers and smile at God’s faithfulness.
Day #1
Dear Lord, Please help me trust you, today, and every day. Please grow our relationship.
Day #2
Dear Lord, Please help me recognize you in my daily walk.
Day #3
Dear Lord, Please help me disregard the falsities of this world and follow you. I know your way is best. Please help me act accordingly.
Day #4
Dear Lord, please help me see your work, and when I see it, have the ability to change my life to meet you in your work.
Day #5
Dear Lord, please help me enter into community with you so that I may hear and follow, and do great or small things for your kingdom.
Day #6
Dear Lord, help me to be more God-centered and less self-centered. Help me get on board with what you want, and what you tell me to do. Please help me not concentrate on what I want to do for you.
Day #7
Dear God, please help me to treat you like God. Also please help me identify the direction of your Will and forego my own.
