Last week I highlighted how DraftOps.com’s Single Stat Challenge game was taking advantage of its customers at an alarming rate. Here is the week 7 update.

It appears that in week 7, that trend continued.

The win rate for their SSC (Single Stat Challenge game) went up slightly this week, but stayed incredibly low at 24%. Only 18 out of 75 players (not including players with 0 points) were able to achieve the DraftOps required number of yards.

Here are the various house hold rates for week 7:

  • Pick 3: Odds of winning 1 in 72. Pays out 6 to 1. House keeps 90.3%
  • Pick 4: Odds of winning 1 in 301. Pays out 10 to 1. House keeps 96.4%
  • Pick 5: Odds of winning 1 in 1,256. Pays out 20 to 1. House keeps 98.3%
  • Pick 6: Odds of winning 1 in 5,233. Pays out 40 to 1. House keeps 99.2%
  • Pick 7: Odds of winning 1 in 21,803. Pays out 50 to 1. House keeps 99.8%
  • Pick 8: Odds of winning 1 in 90,847. Pays out 75 to 1. House keeps 99.9%
  • Pick 9: Odds of winning 1 in 378,529. Pays out 100 to 1. House keeps 99.97%
  • Pick 10: Odds of winning 1 in 1.57 million. Pays out 150 to 1. House keeps 99.99%

And here are some of the more ridiculous losers:

  • Gronkowski lost with 108 yards. Needed 119
  • Luck lost with 333 yards. Needed 350
  • Rivers lost with 336 yards. Needed 380!

I noticed that Rich Eisen was on TV saying that DraftOps levels the playing field. With a house hold rate of 90% to 99.99%, I would disagree.
