45 shades of Green

Green for Brazilians is the color that represents Hope.

And my room, the room I’ve been spending all of my days for the past week in Mumbai is all green. Walls, curtains, scrubs. Even the water bottles, or the Hospital’s logo for that matter.

Hope is a noun, and it means a feeling of desire for a particular thing to happen, a feeling of trust that it will.

As day 03/45 of chemo starts, I’m happy to have my hope magnified by being surrounded by green. The feeling of desire is suddenly an uncontrollable Hunger. Nevertheless the feeling of trust is deep Courage and deep Faith.

Checking out to have my Green Tea. It comes 3 times a day and it tastes like Strength, neat. I recommend it for everyone who’s lacking a bit of Hope.
