He doesn’t need my defense, but I don’t see the response from Thin Man as being unkind or irrational. On the contrary, he always challenges my articles and I find that refreshing.

He is helping me develop as a writer.

It’s difficult to craft a cogent argument.

So, with all due respect Danna Colman, try to receive Thin Man responses as you might from one who judges a gymnast’s performance.

He points out major and minor flaws in arguments; I actually appreciate him for two reasons: he is very sharp and he is actually respectful.
