I assume:

I responded to her article about women being sexually exploited in advertising, with the suggestion that the models simply refuse to pose in provocative and degrading shots. (I attempted to promote responsible behavior on the part of the model because she has more power to say “no” than the profiting executives and the lusting consumers).

I was trying to support her article, but she seemed take it a different way.

Maybe this is a blind spot for me, but her response, (blocking me), seems irrational.
