Too much clutter is such a big issue and a big mess. Having so much clutter, windows and images all competing for space and attention. Cluttered websites are ones that lack visual order, have too much written content on the screen, content that doesn’t seem organized in a logical way and also too much visual noise caused by striking imagery. This is caused by failure of website owners to see their site with fresh eyes, or failure to maintain your page and keep it updated. Too much clutter can badly affect your website in many ways;

First of all, users always want a clean, clear, well-organized website so that they can find what they want as quickly as possible without getting distracted. So much clutter easily distracts the viewers from the main message. Have you ever gotten overwhelmed by much content, the worst of all disorganised content? Yeah, that is how users feel when they land on a website with too much clutter. This has made many businesses lose many potential digital clients. This is a big issue with website maintenance that can easily be sorted out if you learn to set your priorities right.

It affects your conversion rates. At the end of the day, converting customers is the difference between success and failure online. Too much clutter, as earlier on explained, chases away potential clients and conversions from your websites. Instead of receiving conversions, you will get overwhelmed by the bounces and exit rates.Therefore, your site should be designed in a way that encourages each user to take action and without any unnecessary distractions, you can lead potential customers to where they need to go.

It negatively affects user experiences. When you greet your users with a clean and crisp page, you are more likely to make a good first impression and keep visitors on your site than when you greet them with a cluttered website.

Finally, a cluttered website also affects the speed of your website. now this is one hell of a problem and is such a pain. Waiting for something forever to load to the point that you can cook a meal and finish it but it is still loading is frustrating. This can get you the worst rankings from google of all time. One of the biggest causes is having too many files or clutter all competing to load.
