Why Hundreds of Thousands of People Are Rallying To Save Last Man Standing
Joshunda Sanders

I gave up on watching ABC years ago until Last Man Standing debuted and then I never missed an episode. I could relate to the character of Mike Baxter not because of living in a house full of women as I am a bachelor, but because so many of my relatives and friends disagree with my conservative politics. The banter between the characters reminds me of what I deal with on my thoughts, but through it all my family and friends are still there for each other. I found the show much funnier than Blackish or Modern Family and definitely better than the 80s Roseanne. NBC’s The Carmichael show isn’t conservative but at least it was funny and it also dealt with opposing views among the characters. What else can we expect from a network that controls ESPN and thinks sports commentators should also be liberal pundits.
