This is a good article. But it should not be forgotten that the Sanders campaign shares the blame for ripping off his funders by having run an incompetent and ultimately phoney campaign which capitulated rather than fight over these very issues at the Convention. The Clinton delegates were not monolithic and we will never know how they would have responded to an aggressive floor fight by Sellout Sanders over the rules. McCarthy was not a strong candidate but at least he fought for those 1968 rules changes when the DNC ripped off his supporters in the proverbial smoke filled room manner discussed here
