Dependence, Independence and finally inter-dependence. This should be the track of life.
Dependence — You are born and are very dependent on people around you to survive. They feed you, clothe you, put a roof over your head and teach you.
Independence — Then one day you don’t want people helping so much, you want to do it on your own. You are told “You are too young”. A spirit wells up in you that says “Just watch me, I’ll show you!”. Followed by falling flat on your face, but you get back up and eventually figure it out.
Inter-dependence — You fall in love, but independence blocks your way. It doesn’t want to give up. You don’t want to lose yourself to this person, but damn it, you love them. So you try dawning the yoke with your mate and find that things become exponentially easier.
You are simply in the independent phase of life. Not everyone makes it to inter-dependence, but it’s grand if you can. The independent phase is VERY important to a persons development so enjoy it while it lasts.
Clearly you are one of the few critical thinkers of your generation. Your prose even under the influence is good (sober is better). Being angry is good if you use it as an indicator that somethings wrong, not as a way of life. Not to be trite, but be the change you want… once you figure out what you want ;)
