Ron, just to let you know, I’m on your side. Don’t think for a moment I’m talking about MEN like you. I’m guessing you, like me NEVER missed a child support payment, even though we were treated like dirt by our respective ex-wives and the community at large.

Where and when did “feminism” really take root in the US? It was the same time (1935) Franklin D. Roosevelt created welfare for poor children and other dependent people that it became a federal government responsibility. Track the single mother rate from then till now, you’ll see a direct cause and effect.

Just remember, several things can be true at the same time. Did welfare help promote absentee fathers? Yes. Are children the de facto property of women because of government intervention? Yes. Were father’s rights virtually eliminated? Yes.

As I’m sure you know, feminism is a subset of Marxism. One of the major planks is that you belong to the state. To accomplish this, the family unit needs to be destroyed or subverted. Welfare, I repeat, welfare has made a lot of this possible.
