Interesting read, Ev; thanks so much for sharing. While I agree that the culture of many organizations is shaped by multiple personalities, intuitively we know that is not always the only thing going on. Tolerating bad behaviors reflects poorly on leaders, who should be leading by example. We need only look no further than Uber for that lesson. Certainly, if you look at it from a micro viewpoint, there’s a lot we can learn from accountability. And holding everyone accountable for their actions and behaviors can result in the positive culture we strive for in our organization.
