The big question is where will these bots “live”? Even if they are going to reduce the friction in downloading apps a bot needs a user interface where a user can interact with the bot. Facebook is hoping they can be the new layer above the smartphone OS with bots in messenger, like WeChat in China, does that mean compeeting with Siri and Google Now?
