Who am I?

My names Kassandra Gibb-Ward, I’m 18 and I currently attend university at ACU (Strathfield campus). I’m studying a bachelor of education (primary).
I’m a really bubbly person (as you can see to the left), i really just try to make the best of what i have. My main thing i want in life is to be happy, i think happiness is the key to success.
My family is number one for me. I am truly a family orientated person, I would kill, die or go to jail for my family. For me my grandparents mean the world to me as they raised me in the person I am today, always pushing me to be my best self. I’m an animal lover and see my own pets as family. I have 2 dogs and a turtle. I love all animals but I mostly have a soft spot for dogs.
People always ask “Why teaching?”. Well get ready to be blown away. I just really enjoy working with kids and kids in general. From a young age I’ve loved kids. At age 6 I was made an aunty and I think this comes into my love of kids.
This has led to me already having a job working with kids. I’m a swim school teacher at ripples. This job is rewarding like no other. When you come into work in a bad mood and just see that first class so happy to see you. It turns your whole day around. One thing I’ve learned is that working with kids is emotionally rewarding but also draining.
For my other boring jobs, I used to work at Kmart for what seemed like forever. I loved my Kmart family there and it was probably the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do, leaving there. Now I’m just a boring office person at Woolworths. It brings in the money thou so I can’t complain too much.
I also really enjoy sport. I play a range of sports including soccer and touch football. I used to swim when I was younger and have made it to Sydney West on many occasion always motivated by the jumper you get for going. My biggest interest thou is car’s. I love the scene and sense of community the JDM car scene has at the moment and it really sucks to see it being ruined by few people who have no place in it.

I’ve travelled quite a bit for my age. I’ve been to America, Fiji and Japan. I love the feeling of going somewhere new and learning new things, not so much trying new things (alert I’m a very fussy eater).

Thou I like to go overseas the place you’re most likely to find me is the beach, there’s something about laying in the sun or riding the waves on a board that makes you feel at home.
