Saying “No Thank You”

This piece is spot on and coincidentally similar to a conversation i had the other day with two women in their early 20s.
This generation of women is in many ways More assertive than any before it. But when it comes to men and sex they appear torn between the sense of empowerment that comes from saying “no” when they want to and the false sense of empowerment of sex as emotional or material commerce.
Why wouldn’t they be confused? They’ve grown up with lifestyles of the sisters “K”, women married to pseudo-mob guys, girls from the shore and various housewives.
We can tell them one thing but they are constantly faced with “reality” that is quite opposite.
