Food, Hunger & Shame in Trump’s America

I loved this article. As an African American woman from an extremely low income background this was my life. And yes, I still think of food as precious and God forbid I somehow “waste” it, it’s something that takes a while to get over even now; I can’t help it and really I don’t want to. Someone once said, that “there’s enough in the world for everyone’s need but not everyone’s greed.” This is what our society has become; great excess and waste on one end with great poverty and hunger on the other. Anyway, keep up the great work☺
