Use your powers to help more young people get out and vote

RockEnrol exists to build and activate political power for young people in Aotearoa. We are looking for two awesome people to help run our campaign this year — an Event Organiser and Campaign Manager. Scroll on to read about the roles and for more info on how to apply! Campaign Manager (40 hours per week for 8 weeks)
As our Campaign Manager you will use technology creatively, have brilliant verbal and written communications skills, help organise kickass campaign actions and logistics, and thrive in community organising.
Our strategy is already outlined so you’ll have a framework to run with, and there is also still room for lots of creative input if you have new ideas.
Here is a breakdown of your work:
- You will train and deploy hundreds of RockEnrol volunteers nationwide to get more young people out to vote.
- You will amplify the voices of young people in social and traditional media.
- You will work with NGOs and issues experts to ensure young people RockEnrol volunteers engage have all of the information they need to vote.
- You will work with musicians, artists and comedians to encourage young people to engage in politics in new and creative ways.

Event Organiser (120 hours)
As our Event Organiser you will organise 6–9 events throughout the country that combine music and comedy in a bid to encourage more young people to get out and vote this election year. We will use the events as a platform to build hype for RockEnrol, recruit volunteers, and encourage more young people to rise up and be heard.
The events will run from August 15 — September 23 (exact dates TBC based on availability) in South and Central Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin, Hamilton and possibly Rotorua, Whangarei and Gisborne (depending on how far we can stretch the budget.
You will know how to get shit done, be super organised, love events and be willing to travel to these places.
