Being A Developer After 40

This is great! I’m turning 40 early next year, I’ve been a dev since 1999 (my first job was a junior web dev at a CD-ROM production company) and I’m still “just a dev” (although now I do Ruby). I’ve felt odd at times that I haven’t “progressed” to being a tech lead or CTO or CEO or any of the career paths that just…. don’t appeal. I hope to remain a developer for a long time.
