Laura Doud — A Respected Leader

Laura Doud is the elected City Auditor of Long Beach, where she leads an Office that provides independent audits and reviews of operations to make Long Beach better. She has championed the passage of Proposition H and the Harbor Initiative, resulting in millions of dollars for public safety and projects in the city’s Tidelands area. Her audits have received nationally recognized awards, focusing on effective and efficient government. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Fraud Examiner.
