Interesting read, thank you! As a teacher, I would like to highlight a misconception present in your piece:

“Entrepreneurs are now exploring a new take on the educational model. A student-centered system where student’s own personality and interest is the most decisive factor when it comes to curriculum configuration.”

Teacher preparation programs, for years, have trained teachers to facilitate student-centered learning environments. We are now required to differentiate instruction and curate content that is both skill-level appropriate and relevant to students’ lives.

I know the common narrative in the media is that schools take on this “factory model” in which teachers expect students to learn in the same way and at the same pace, but that is a myth.
