It’s Not About Race!
John Metta

I agree wholeheartedly with you. This is about culture. There’s enough shame to go all around and enough ignorance, too. Can we talk about African culture in terms of slavery, though? Can we talk about the historic culture of Africans that made the world-wide slave trade possible? Can we have that discussion, too, without the whole dialog devolving into blaming each other? Because if we can’t have the whole discussion, then the dialog will always be mired in demonizing Europeans, and by extension, Whites for the sins both our forebears committed.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
