I have Small B Cell lymphoma, currently considered not curable, currently in remission. As this point (over 40 months dancing with NED) I am an outlier in that it has not (yet) returned. I agree — cancer is not a marathon. It is a process of learning to live in the now *regardless* of having a life threatening condition. I confront the reality of the return of this cancer every six months. My next check up is Oct. 19. The roller coaster continues — so far. In the meantime I try to live my life purposefully, knowing that at any moment my usual routine can come crashing to a halt. Like Snoopy says, until we die we will live. Best wishes to you.
